We had dinner on June 20, 2025 in this very nice restaurant in Matera (Italy), excellently located in the old town. We appreciated the comfort of the outdoor terrace, the efficiency of the service and the excellent cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the cod served on a bed of spinach with celery cream. Superb cooking. We dined outside but the interior of this beautifully restored old wine cellar is just as elegant. The prices remain reasonable for this level of dining. We recommend this address where there is a real chef in the kitchen, because it deserves to be praised.

It was the jazz music that drew us into this restaurant. And it was a great idea! The interior is cozy, with a few tables, and the staff is adorable. We can't even mention the menu. We LOVED IT! A truffle pasta dish—how can I put it? Delicious! One of the best Parmigiano cheeses we've ever eaten. That's saying something. Everything is refined, flavorful, and delicate. We finished with a deconstructed but incredible Canolo (Sicilian dessert). In short, a wonderful evening 😋

In this refined restaurant I ate the best vegan “Planted” steak I have ever tried in Italy. I was accompanied by two people who ate fish-filled ravioli, spaghetti with parmesan cream and truffle and for dessert basil ice cream with the addition of raw oil, a deconstructed cannolo and a tiramisu. Everything was excellent, like the service. The staff was really kind and efficient, and despite the crowd, everything arrived within 15 minutes from one course to the next. In short, a perfect experience. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had the immense pleasure of dining in this fine establishment. We were staying in Italy for about a month and without question, this was THE BEST restaurant that we dined in. We arrived to a beautiful cave restaurant which is beautifully appointed. The wait staff are kind, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. We selected both a red wine and a white wine and both are curated from their private vineyard and beyond our wildest dreams in quality. The bread, which is historically exclusive to Matera is beyond your wildest dreams. It is served with their olive oil produced exclusively for them. My husband started with the pasta prepared with local sausage, my husband described the pasta course as one of the top three pasta courses that he has ever had in his lifetime. I had the creamy pasta, the server brought over a beautifully designed box and opened the box to present a lovely truffle. She proceeded to shave fresh truffle over my pasta and I have NEVER enjoyed such a meal in my lifetime. My husband had the veal cheek with saffron mashed potatoes. The veal cheek was so delicate and delicious and the potatoes were the creamiest he has ever had. For dessert, I had the deconstructed cannoli which was light as air and creamy. My husband had tiramisu served in an Italian espresso pot and my husband said that it was in the top 3 tiramisus that he has ever had. If you are a "Foodie" you MUST visit this restaurant. It is a FIVE STAR restaurant without the FIVE STAR prices. Truly an extraordinary dining experience and beautiful atmosphere. A true Matera gem. Perfect for a beautiful evening out or a special event, just all around perfect.

We had a wonderful evening at Radino. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. We haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time, and the prices were great, too. We highly recommend it!

Highly recommended. Everything is impeccable, from service to food. If you want to take a break from the average pizza and pasta, you should definitely check this place out. Since it is also a wine bar, their selection of wines is really good. If you’re in the mood for some bubbles, be sure to oder a bottle of Franciacorta (the italian version of champagne)

Amazing cave restaurant who are opened by wine and olive oil producer. Local food menu very authentic. Great music. Must try Cigar room in -2 underground level with a well ventilated room and a selection of whiskies and liqueurs.

Fabulosa experiencia gastronómica en un impresionante entorno de cuevas con una sensación íntima. La comida era excepcional. Servicio impecable pero también amable. No podía fallar este lugar en absoluto.

Wow, the price is the price of a regular home-cooked meal, but you get a fine dining dish. How can this price be possible? It is located in a remote area, but I highly recommend it. The raw fish tartare was the best. The Ladino wine was also good.

Für einen letzten Drink und eine Zigarre sind wir hier hierher gegangen und die Auswahl an beidem war prima. Es gibt eine DIN A4-Liste mit vielen Zigarren von Davidoff über Arturo Fuentes bis zu Aurora für jede Rauchlänge und Stärke. Der Raucherraum ist ein Glaskasten einige Treppen hinunter, eine portable elektrische Glocke ruft den Service, falls man noch etwas bestellen will. Ob Whiskey oder Wein - auch ein Bier ist möglich - hier gibt es für jeden etwas. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall für die oben genannten Dinge empfehlen - das Essen sah aber auch sehr gut aus und die Betreuung ist bestens.

27/08/2025: Very good pizzeria! We ate both lunch and dinner. The portions were generous and of high quality. The pizzas (thin crust) were very good. For four of us, we spent €55 for lunch and €65.50 for dinner, so great prices! Lunch: pasta and chickpeas, salad, pasta with tomato sauce, hamburger and fries, 1 liter of water, two coffees Dinner: 4 pizzas, craft beer, Coke, 2 teas, 1 French fry, and two coffees. The staff was very friendly both times; in fact, for dinner (we hadn't booked), they even managed to find us a table. Thank you so much and best regards from the "Pokémon" family 😉 P.S. Watch out for the spicy oil...it's really spicy 😬

10/09/2025: The food here is fantastic and a very reasonable price. Service was friendly without being “tourist style friendly” and the restaurant interior is lovely (contemporary). We loved it!
