Qvinto In Roma

A very stylish and elegant place in the Tor di Quinto area. Unfortunately, we had the terrible idea of getting a table outside in the evening, and between the humidity and the noise from a large adjacent table, it wasn't exactly idyllic. But inside, for example, it was truly a dream. The food wasn't exactly top-quality, at least what we tried, namely fried foods (too greasy) and pizza. The latter was the Roman version, thin but not crispy, lightly topped, and quite tasteless (we were vegetarian). In hindsight, I realize this isn't a place for a pizza and supplì night. My mistake. Quality service.

My friends and I went there last week. The place is located in Ponte Milvio, in a very secluded area near a lake. Both the location and the place are very beautiful. We had a great time.

Elegant, unique, and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is varied and excellent. We had fried shrimp appetizers, tomato and mozzarella balls, or tomato and eggplant, followed by Roman first courses and pizza. Everything was delicious! Wide selection of wines. Friendly and professional waiters. A little pricey, but recommended.

First of all I want to point out that the following review is personal, the result of an experience and that it is absolutely not moved to offend the staff or anything else or others. For me this type of place is the classic "I would like to but I can't" place, that is, I saw a lot of unexpressed potential.... I'll try to be concise by making a list of the pros and cons starting right from the last ones: - quite hidden place, few indications and little light - at a certain time the park closes so if I had wanted to take a romantic walk with my wife after dinner I wouldn't have thought about it - the lemon room, did not reflect anything of the lemon but only fake vases with equally fake plants scattered here and there ... The composition of the floral decorations was rather nice, however.. flower room? - I would have detached the drinks room more, because there were practically tables everywhere... I would have created a sort of modern private room... - the desk that probably serves as a cash register placed where it was tonight is really cumbersome as if it were a hotel... Maybe placed near the barman, right?! - slowly we get closer to the menu and the food as the good ones say... The menu is clearly well thought out, yet I would have put a little more info if maybe there had been some ingredient like d.o.p. because it's nice to eat quality food but it's more satisfying to know that for the amount you're paying you're eating something different... precisely the I would like but I can't... - our cutlery was crooked or inadequate for the type of dish served, for example the dessert served with a soup spoon rather than a fork or something like that or the pizza which was served with a cheese knife... - we paid €97 for two, which I absolutely won't comment on but I'd like to understand the €17 gin and tonic... First of all I asked for a lemon gin and tonic which never arrived but oh well, the very kind waitress then asked me if I had any gin preferences but evidently it wasn't feasible because she served me a commercial one and (alas) I know how to recognize it very well... Served in an inappropriate glass, neither good nor bad with a stick to mix it all honestly bo... and on the receipt it even said Premium Gin Tonic and I wonder where or how or why ... In conclusion, would I go back? Would I recommend it? Yes, because it is certainly one of the good places that I have been able to find a good dose of commitment and desire to work well but everything listed... Overall rating 6, with a lot of room for improvement. 💪

Guest for evening party of friends. Large place, with garden, ample parking, rather refined environment. As in many very large places, for the food, although of excellent quality, it is not possible to take care of the details, some dishes arrived cold etc etc. However pleasant environment, well-kept, well-dressed staff, attentive service but with dozens and dozens of tables, you happen to be distracted. I ignore the costs, I would say perhaps pretentious overall but the setting is objectively refined and pleasant.
