I recommend the truffle carbonara; they give you a generous amount of truffles and smoked bacon, and it's incredibly fragrant. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. They give you bread and small candies when you pay, but surprisingly, there's no seating fee!

I'm a tourist from Taiwan 🇹🇼, visiting in February 2026. This is an Italian pasta restaurant that doesn't charge a seating fee; it feels a bit like a family-run place. ⏰We arrived around 7 PM on Tuesday and waited in line for half an hour. They close at 8 PM, so the owner came out early to say that about half the line wouldn't get a table and asked everyone to leave. Luckily, we were able to get a seat after waiting for half an hour. 💰One truffle carbonara, one amatriciana, and a bottle of water, totaling NT$1476 🍝The most popular dish at this restaurant is the truffle carbonara, €24 per serving. It was truly impressive when it arrived; the truffle was practically added on top of everything, so you could taste the truffle itself in every bite. The sliced truffle had a refreshing flavor, unlike the heavy flavor of truffle sauce. The sliced pieces added another layer of texture without overpowering the pork cheek, cheese, and egg and milk flavors. For the carbonara, I thought the best part was the air-dried pork cheek. It was definitely stir-fried first, bringing out the aroma of the fat. The salty and savory pork flavor combined with the aroma of the stir-fried fat was very appetizing and truly excellent. My impression of this dish was all in the ingredients. I wasn't particularly impressed with the sauce and pasta. 🍝Amatriciana It seems to be a classic flavor; basically, it's tomato-based with dried pork cheek and cheese. The pasta itself is served on a straw, which is actually quite cool—it's hollow, and you can suck up the sauce while sipping it, which is pretty cool (?). The tomato flavor is super strong, and the sour and savory taste is amazing! On this trip, I discovered that everything with an Italian tomato base is quite delicious.

Two consecutive days of visits to this hidden gem in Rome – a truly worthwhile choice with no seating fee! During my trip to Rome, this small restaurant with only 7 seats became my most unforgettable culinary memory. On the first day, I arrived 5 minutes early and was the third person to enter at 6 PM sharp. On the second day, I arrived 10 minutes early and was lucky enough to be the first customer. This wasn't just because it was so popular, but also because it's only open for a few hours. 🍝 Food: Heart Above All Else There's no fancy decor here, but the most authentic Roman flavors conquered my taste buds: - Mussel Pasta: Rich tomato sauce, fresh and juicy mussels, every bite bursting with the taste of the sea. - Grilled Lamb Chops: Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with arugula and Parmesan cheese, perfectly balancing the richness of the meat. - Lasagna: Distinct layers, the aroma of meat sauce and cheese blending in your mouth – classic Italian comfort food. - Pistachio Tiramisu: As a finishing touch, it's absolutely the perfect finishing touch. Based on traditional tiramisu, it incorporates crunchy pistachio pieces, and the rich mascarpone cheese and nutty aroma collide to create an unforgettable experience. What surprised me most was that in Rome, a city where seating fees are common, this place didn't charge a single fee! The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, treating the place like a warm family atmosphere. Although the space is small and the turnover rate is high, this compact feel actually makes the dining experience more authentic and memorable. If you're looking for authentic local cuisine in Rome, untouched by commercialization, avoid the trendy restaurants and queue here. You'll find that the best flavors are often hidden in these carefully crafted little eateries.

Authentic place. The food was delicious and Luca was very friendly and fun to serve. It's worth the wait in line. The place is a bit shabby, but the food is definitely worth it. The truffle-infused courgette was amazing. Luca even brought us some peanuts to snack on while we waited, and they stored our luggage without any problem!

Excellent pasta place. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions are very generous, so make sure you have plenty of room! It's a small restaurant with limited seating, so avoid going in a large group, and it's best to arrive early to secure a table. It's full as soon as it opens.

The atmosphere is casual, cheerful, and varied. Friendly staff and tasty cuisine with vegetarian and vegan options are also available. Dining is outdoors under awnings. Evenings feature music. Recommended as an alternative to the usual restaurant.
