Off the beaten path. Nice setting and able to eat outside without being bothered by smokers typical elsewhere. Food was fresh and excellent and 'apparently' well-priced, but charges for water and a higher service charge than experienced in Rome resultd in higher total than expected; 10-15% higher and left bad taste in my husband's mouth. Really should be transparent about added charges. No need for deception. Add...so diners beware: water AND bread are charged extra. Just because it's local SOP it doesn't mean visitors are aware or that it's best practice or right thing to do.

Very, very good dishes in very generous portions. A true delight for the palate and the sense of smell. You can clearly perceive that this is food made with top quality ingredients, cooked in an excellent manner. It is a very nice restaurant, with an internal room and an external room suitable for both groups of friends and families. We were served quickly without long waits by an extremely attentive and kind blonde lady. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended to everyone.

In reality, a rather limited menu. Staff very friendly, and service was good. Nevertheless, some items were definitely overpriced, and overall, - although food was of reasonable quality - it was not especially good value. In conclusion, it can be described as an acceptable establishment which tries its best to please, but could develop a more extensive menu, and review prices to achieve a higher standard of overall quality.

We went there for dinner while having a stopover waiting to catch a cruise ship the next day and did not regret our choice of restaurants. The owner of this venue was very friendly and accomodating, the food great and the wine list had a good choice . I had the grilled seafood which was well cooked and prepared but it was not a large serving and I think looking at the other meals I could have ordered better . We were given a limoncello at the end of the night and we all agreed this venue is worth a try if you are in the area .

We throughly enjoyed our 2 visits to Pyper. The owner so so friendly and welcoming. She couldn’t do enough for us providing extra nibbles. I would highly recommend whether it’s just for a drink or food it really is a hidden gem!!

In an elegant tavern in the heart of the medieval center I enjoyed a rich appetizer and very high quality meat, excellent wine and ice-cold beer, the cuts were perfect, accompanied by excellent side dishes. The historic atmosphere and impeccable service made the experience unforgettable. An excellent choice for a typical but refined dinner immersed in a beautiful pedestrian area

Fried calamari was scarce and expensive for us new customers but a little more abundant for the customers at the next table who seemed to be locals and regulars. 2 fried foods, a French fry, a coffee and two filtered waters 49 euros. The customer sees he is not stupid.
