The food was fantastic with traditional fried rice balls and fried ricotta cheese. The owner Paolo was very friendly. We had a great time dining at his famous little restaurant. BTW, the restaurant will be closed next week (the end of October) because he is going to pick lemons in his farm.

Entirely gluten-free street food (mixed fried fish and other fried foods) in the center of Noto, next to the main tourist attractions.
We ordered two mixed fried fish dishes and some basil and fish arancini (unfortunately, the fish wasn't very tasty). The fried food was very good overall, the octopus was slightly rubbery. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There were only a few tables.

Attracted by the smell and the fact that their entire menu is gluten-free (a must for my partner), I had lunch at Putia del Coppo. They make exceptional fried food, also recommended for those like me who can eat gluten.

We came here for a vegetable cuoppo for my vegetarian girlfriend.
The food was good, no doubt about it, but as for the service: the kitchen staff and the cashier were very good, but the guy I assume was the owner shocked us by saying we couldn't sit because, quote: "the seats aren't usually for those who order a cuoppo with vegetables." We're customers like everyone else; we waited for a table to become available (one of the few small ones, given the already cramped space due to the street) and politely sat down after paying for our cuoppo and drink.
Would I recommend this place? Yes, of course, but you shouldn't treat customers that way.
