Putea In Cava de' tirreni

It used to be one of the best restaurants in Cava, but it's gone downhill dramatically. The dishes are skimpy and expensive, and it's lost its exclusivity.

Giusy, Gianparide, and the entire team make you feel right at home, all topped off by a relaxing, well-kept setting, excellent food (and wines!), and impeccable service. I can't recommend it enough♥️

If you are looking for a place where you can feel pampered from the first to the last minute, Putea is the perfect destination. A warm, authentic atmosphere, with attention to every detail, where food meets the soul, thanks to a team that works with passion and heart. A special applause goes to the waiting staff, attentive, smiling and prepared: they manage to convey love for the profession and make every guest part of a true convivial experience, never just a simple customer. But the real added value is Gianparide, the owner. A charismatic figure, present but never intrusive, he has been able to create a place that fully reflects his vision: hospitality, quality and a connection with the territory. With his passion and his savoir-faire, Gianparide not only leads the restaurant with a sure hand, but also manages to convey to customers that human warmth that makes the difference. His presence is felt in every dish, in every smile of the staff, in every detail. Speaking of dishes, every proposal on the menu is a discovery, but two in particular have become real rituals of taste for me: the cutting board, rich, generous and intelligently selected, and the Genoese candles, a masterfully executed classic, capable of recounting tradition with elegance and intensity. Putea is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. And much of this is due to those who believe in it every day with dedication: Gianparide, you are the soul of this place.

we came and had a bottle of sparkling white wine after a big lunch at home and a lovely walk. the wine was delicious, the view is beautiful and the service was impeccable! we were given some aperitifs which we didn’t realise we ordered (must have been a misunderstanding) but they were tasty. it’s a little expensive but for the view, service and quality i think it’s worth it.

Good but nothing special.. the only exceptional thing is the price.
