nice place, quality, price within the norm, the only flaw was the arrival of the coffee, no trace of a biscuit, never happened in a Michelin guide restaurant

This restaurant is truly exceptional.
I frequent this place often. Initially I went there exclusively to celebrate special occasions, but over time, the real special occasion became the opportunity to dine here. Each visit turns into a unique experience.
The chef is extremely competent and manages to convey his passion for his culinary art in every dish he creates.
In Monza, it is difficult to find better.

Una piccola boutique dove si creano magie… da gustare. In tre abbiamo provato sei piatti tutti diversi, tutti assolutamente ottimi.

We came here four years ago and liked it so thought we would try it again for lunch. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming (English is spoken), the service is good, though maybe initially rather slow. The level of the music has not changed and some found it rather invasive. The quality of the food is still good, with some highlights – the poached egg on parmesan cream was delicious, as was the clam pasta with lemon, apparently super lemon tasty and refreshing. Other dishes included diced beef with hazelnuts and caprino cheese (good), octopus with pumpkin and bacon (good) and seared tuna with anchovy sauce (boring). Dessert (tiramisu) was underwhelming. Warm homemade bread was provided which was appreciated. The main comment was that the portions are mostly rather small (maybe bistrot style?). Then we come to the wine, which was highly overpriced, particularly by the glass, and significantly increased our bill. General quality/price ratio was in line with Monza centre standards but still a bit high for a bistrot lunch. The ambience is however relaxing and warm and overall Punto G Bistrot is to be recommended. (NB: the restaurant, on the first floor, is considerably more expensive).
