I stumbled upon it last night by chance, stopping while I was queuing to go home, without reading any reviews. I have to say I had a great time: the service was courteous and discreet, the beer was good, but above all, the pizza was truly excellent! Finally, a place where you can still eat something that isn't just a show-off like those super-leavened Neapolitan tires (which, if done well, are delicious). The pizza is thin, crispy, with just the right amount of flavor, and the tomato sauce isn't acidic. The other ingredients are also high-quality. All in all, a surprise. Good value for money (pizza and beer €15). See you again.

The wood paneling of this small place has endured years of our fortunes and misfortunes, amidst drinks, jokes, pranks, and the last missed trams, because you were so happy there you didn't even notice the time. Here, we've always found someone who welcomed us with a smile, even when, in a large group eager to celebrate, perhaps not paying attention to the time because we were already a little tipsy, we happened upon Khaled practically at closing time. He's always helpful and friendly, an institution. The pizza is good. The Gordon Gold beer (quite rare in pubs) is spectacular, nice and heavy, but we take the tram (very convenient) anyway. The place is small (and we like it), but obviously, if it's crowded, it fills up quickly... So if you're a large group, I think it's best to call ahead 😅, although we've always gone by chance and it's always worked out well. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the P&J staff. We were in Florence about two minutes ago for a short trip through Tuscany in our van camper. We definitely didn't want to eat at a restaurant in the city center. We found this bar on Google Maps 10 minutes outside. The value for money was great, and the staff were so exceptionally friendly that they didn't even want to accept tips. The pizza was really delicious for a pub, and the Aperol was really good at €6. If I end up in Florence again, I'll definitely go back.

Great place. Great pizza, and good service. For a simple, cheap beer and pizza, this is one of the best places in Florence. 10 Stars!!!

For a pub the pizza is good. We arrived very late and they served us quickly. Quality beer. Fair prices.
