I recently went to the Sampietrino restaurant and the experience was truly above expectations. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with attention to detail but without losing that authentic touch that makes the environment familiar and refined at the same time. There is a relaxed but elegant atmosphere, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a special occasion. The service was impeccable: the waiters who served us were extremely kind, helpful and professional, always attentive but never intrusive. A special thanks goes to the restaurant manager, a person of great graciousness and courtesy, who showed not only competence but also extraordinary availability when, at the end of the evening, I realized I had lost a personal object. Thanks to her attention and care, I was able to recover it the next day, an unusual gesture that I truly appreciated. Moving on to the food, we started with a Fassona tartare, boiled meatballs and an aubergine parmigiana: good and well-presented appetizers. But the real triumph of the evening was the first courses: one of the best carbonaras I have ever tasted in Rome, creamy to perfection and with quality ingredients; the amatriciana also deserves a special mention, intense and balanced in its flavors. In short, a super positive experience from every point of view. Sampietrino is a restaurant where I will definitely return and that I would recommend to anyone who wants to have an authentic Roman gastronomic experience, with the added value of a truly rare welcome.

Really very nice place 2 steps from San Giovanni. Very friendly and efficient staff. Really good food, the butter and anchovies and the shank are highly recommended. We'll be back!

Super experience! We went on Saturday evening without a reservation and within 10 minutes they found us a table. Impeccable service, everyone very kind, fast and helpful. We ate very well, from starters to desserts, and the prices are appropriate to the experience: two starters, two first courses, two desserts, two glasses of wine, water and two coffees for €42 each! Super recommended place, if I were to return to Rome I would definitely have dinner there again!
