Just right there at the Piazza Umberto Capri.
Walk upstairs and you 'll just see some pretty nice views. Sit down kind of relax atmosphere during the day and at night gets a little bit more lively but the staff are very friendly and the food absolutely amazing. Wasn't anything I didn't like even that caprese salad which I generally don't eat. My nephew had asked me to try it because said he doesn't usually like it but it was good. And boy oh boy it was.

We were there in September and unfortunately we had a rainy day, but the place proved to be very beautiful all the same. Really very good food, impeccable service and the classic Italian atmosphere. The restaurant can be reached after a few steps and a stone's throw from the funicular, directly overlooking the small square, perfect for a break before entering the shopping streets. Advised.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a lunch place during our day trip in Capri. Easy to miss, but the entrance is up a narrow staircase. Great view of the town square. We got there before prime lunch time and were able to get seated right away. The line grows quickly and winded down the stairs by the time we left. Wonderful and colorful food. Great bottles of wine to select from, we had a Greco di Tufo. The caprese salad pasta with clams were my favorite dishes. Service was wonderful.

A class act… the food, service and ambiance is brilliant. Second to none on the island.
The staff from the chef down are really on a mission to make this the best they can be. There is no entitlement like the rest of the other high end restaurants in Capri. So great, we came back again later in the week.

A reason enough in itself for a trip to Capri
Very kind and competent staff.
Excellent assortment and selection of wines.
Keep the name of chef Umberto de Magistris in mind because we will hear about him.
Great technique and imagination.
Always balanced and surprising result.
Excellent desserts and even coffee.
Prices adequate for the offer, but with very generous portions.

È sempre una conferma da Alessandro, 27 anni, in soli 4 anni ( in mezzo pure una pandemia) ha trasformato il wine bar ereditato dal padre nel salotto gourmet di Capri.
Pasta vongole e lupini rivisitata, cacio e pepe alla caprese, ravioli con caciotta… paccheri con ricciola olive e capperi… un staff eccellente. Claudia, la cugina, professionalità con stile… e poi c’è il limoncello fatto dalla nonna…
