We were really excited to try Pulalli based on the reviews, but left underwhelmed. The truffle burrata salad had fresh ingredients that didn’t quite work as a cohesive dish. The truffle didn’t taste like much. For mains, we had the linguine, beef and octopus genovese pasta. We’ve definitely had way better linguine and genovese in Capri (the octopus in the genovese was too overpowering). While the staff were courteous, service was spotty at best (10 minutes to get the menu, had to keep hailing staff when we needed something, etc.). Overall, a somewhat disappointing dining experience relative to expectations.

Luckily, we found this charming restaurant just a few steps away from the busy piazza — a bit hidden, but absolutely worth the short climb.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and took care of everything, including our small dog who also enjoyed the hospitality! We were recommended the Cacio e Pepe with truffle and Linguine Zucchini — both dishes were excellent and full of flavor. The wine suggestion by the glass was spot on and paired perfectly with our meal.
It’s a peaceful place with a lovely breeze and scenic views over the piazza and hills — a great place to relax and enjoy Capri away from the crowds. You may need to do a bit of research to find it, but once you do, it’s a gem you won’t want to miss.

One of the best dinners I have ever had: excellent food and quality of cooking, unique location, extremely hospitable and welcoming staff and owner. A must-see when you are on the island.

We were looking for a light lunch and a glass of wine, while taking in Capri. There are other restaurants that have views out over the cliffs and sea (Pulalli does have one super cute table that does, but it's hard to get), but here we found a table with a view of the hills that looked out over the piazza with shade and a perfect breeze.
We ordered a bottle of local wine and a salad and both were excellent! The staff were very friendly and attentive.
During busy hours you may want to make a reservation, we were just two so they found us a spot, but groups may have trouble.

The food was amazing and Salvatore (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was the best waiter. I had the special that night of ravioli with ricotta lemon and truffle. My wife had spaghetti with clams. We shared a raw tuna dish with tomato. Everything was so good. Their version of tiramisu was so light and delicious.

Fue fantástico. El pequeño balcón con vistas al mar era el lugar perfecto para proponer... gracias al fantástico equipo. Habían organizado rosas súper hermosas. Y tocaba la música que yo pensaba. Y ella dijo SÍ.
Por cierto, la comida era genial.

Esperienza incredibilmente fantastica sin dall'arrivo. Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e professionalità e ci hanno fatto accomodare sul balconcino panoramico. Da lì e' iniziata una esperienza sensoriale enogastronomica eccezionale. Personale gentilissimo, piatti presentati in maniera impeccabile equilibrati e gustosissimi. Prima di andare non potevamo non fare i nostri personali complimenti allo chef ed al team per la indimenticabile serata che ci hanno regalato.
