All very good! Magnificent welcome, everyone friendly and a bit of a feeling of home. Just that place where you want to go with friends and/or relatives to spend a nice evening eating well

pleasant surprise after a walk in the Carso, excellent wine, beers to be missed (in the choices and quality) and exquisite dishes served abundantly and with disarming kindness and courtesy, a very honest price.

The kingdom of crepes....a thousand sweet flavours.....the rest is good too....the owner has a whole programme

It is a place with a well-defined identity. It focuses on some of its gastronomic peculiarities (e.g. the choice of pasties, an endless choice of omelettes (loc: 'palatschinken'), a wide choice of beers, even if all of a specific brand. The food is not bad, traditional but refined , from pub/trattoria with some variations on local ingredients. Unfortunately in July of this year I found a service with problems: courteous and witty, they know how to treat customers, but they were very disorganised. We experienced long waiting times, in general we noticed difficulty keeping up with the number of customers, as if there were few of them in the kitchen. The place wasn't full on a Friday evening, yet the waiters struggled to keep up with the customers. To attract attention we often had to step forward to remind them that we were waiting to order, or to have the dessert list, waiting even more than half an hour after the request. I hope it was a difficult moment, because the place and peculiarities deserve more.

In general good products and right portions. Not very cheap, too bad they never offer anything even if you leave a few hundred euros on the table..

Traditional Julian and Slavic food. Informal and old tavern style atmosphere. Homemade food and honest prices.

A Gropada in Carso, a ridosso del confine con la Slovenia, posto di ristoro molto meritevole con specialità locali e non e personale cortese e disponibile. Interessante sorpresa il Tartufo di Pizzo Calabro, una vera leccornia. Disponibili anche piatti non presenti nel menù, ma che vengono indicati dal personale al monento dell'ordine.

Excellent food,.. definitely worth trying the 200 flavors of palacinke. Wide choice of beers..... There's no two without three... 😂

Personale super cordiale e competente! Ambiente famigliare. Da provare la specialità della casa le palacinke fritte!
