Siamo stati a cena in questo bistrot dall'ambiente interessante. Intanto un "bistrot" a Scicli è già di per sé una.... particolarità. Ma al di là della denominazione ciò che abbiamo trovato. ....particolare è stato il menù. Tutto buono, tanto per chiarire, con piatti cucinati in maniera diversa ma non in danno al gusto: Polpo su fonduta ragusana, bocconcini di gamberi marinati con verdure grigliate, pesce spada verzato e, qualcosa assolutamente nuova per noi che venivamo dalla Campania, arancini al nero di seppia. Complimenti ai giovani gestori di questo ristorante.

Allover, we had a really great time with all the food, atmosphere, services speed… The swardfish with cabbage (I think😂) suited perfectly… The only problem for me was that I was a driver and I couldn ´t taste the wine, cause the winecellar was full of of amazing natural wine, even one from the Czech Republic. Thanks!

Superb service… incredible tasty food, great menu and drinks wine list. Easy order QR online menu with WiFi… the restaurant was full… 11/10 highly recommended- special mention to Antonio :-) We will be back!

Found this place through the ‘Triple A’ app, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations in terms of food, service, or atmosphere. The wine ended up being the highlight of the meal. A bit of a letdown overall.

Focusing on communication makes the business identifiable. Adding professionalism, taste and refinement multiplies its value. The structure is built inside an ancient building (perhaps residential) restored and inserted into the context of the historic and late Baroque location of Scicli.
The menu is intelligently limited to a limited number of dishes, but constantly updated and of extreme tasting quality. It is also possible to consult the extensive wine list, both Italian and foreign. The dedication of the staff is appreciated, who patiently - almost vocationally - guide you through the choice of dishes and wines. Off-menu solutions are often proposed; in that case it is advisable to ask for the costs since they are slightly higher than the prices listed on the menu.
The restaurant has a large and complete wine cellar.
Very well maintained toilets. Suitable for private lunches or dinners. It is advisable to book since the restaurant is extremely refined and you would risk not finding a place. Very satisfactory quality-price ratio.
Please note that wheelchair accessibility is a must: the entrance is located just below street level and can be reached via a few steps.

Attirati dalla posizione così alta (attenzione sempre alle recensioni entusiastiche fatte da profili con un solo contributo) ci siamo fidati, ma forse era proprio una serata no. Antipasti senza infamia e senza lode tranne il buccateddu davvero buono. Tra i primi s'è assaggiata l'onda anomala, un po' troppo al dente. Il tipico secondo puccidduzzu nulla di che, con accostamento di carciofi e crema di mele - freddissima - eccessivamente ardito. Forse si dovrebbe limitare l'offerta dei piatti e mantenersi un po' più sul tradizionale, evitando bizzarre interpretazioni della cucina siciliana agli chef, con tutto il rispetto per il loro spirito creativo
