Good food at acceptable price levels for central Como with a view from hill to hill when seated outside. Authentic and curated wine selection with easy and relaxing service.

A glass of white wine that never arrived, a pasta dish with tomato sauce that was good but the portion was tiny, if not ridiculously small, and a room made noisy by the arrival of a group of six people: disappointing and frustrating given the kindness of the staff and the establishment's good rating. A shame.

LOVE this local wine bar which serves local food and great wine. We were there to celebrate our parents wedding anniversary and Carlo and team were so lovely to serve us devine tiramisu and fruit cake with the candle to surprise the couple. Our parents were so happy and so touched. 10 stars if I could give. Generous portion of excellent food, human touch that make us wanting to come back. (Also a lot of local people- always a good sign!)

While looking for a place to have dinner, we ended up at Pronobis on Thursday evening. During the week, there's a limited selection of dishes, which in our case was lasagna or parmigiana. Both were absolutely fantastic! For starters, we had vitello tonnato – also very tasty. If you just come for an aperitif, you can also get sausage, cheese, and other snacks. The service was excellent: the waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a relaxed evening with good wine and fine food!

11/07/2025: Delicious Italian food, generous portions and great service.
10/07/2025: Excellent preparation of the dishes. Among other things, we had homemade gnocchi with basil, mini octopus cooked in their own ink, pizzas with really good bases and fillings of good ingredients. Plus a fresh, sparkling house white wine. And there was plenty of food ;0) The restaurant has been in the same family's "ownership" for generations, and you can clearly sense a familiar and informal atmosphere combined with a desire to take good care of its guests.

20/06/2025: ...work menu second time...one in winter next to the fireplace, beautiful and warm...and one in almost summer on the veranda with a nice cool window...great choice of menu and great price...if in the area highly recommended but you absolutely have to book 😉👍🏻
