I decided to make an alternative birthday cake and order 40 little friars here! I called at 12 in the morning (I like to get back to the last minute..) asking if I could order them, I found only kindness and at 4pm they were ready for collection. The taste? It can't be explained! It has no equal! Super thanks

Prodotti veramente ottimi ! Volevamo da tempo fermarci a mangiare dei frati e finalmente un pomeriggio di pochi giorni fa abbiamo avuto l'occasione. Frati per niente unti e molto soffici e tanta simpatia del proprietario. Torneremo a mangiare anche gli altri prodotti come i bomboloni di sicuro squisiti. Complimenti !

Very light and delicious friars. You could eat one after another without stopping. The stuffed donuts and cannoli are also excellent. To eat every day when there is the Fair in Lucca and at other times of the year at the shop in Sant'Anna. Chapeau

23/08/2024: Ottimo posto per piatti pronti di grande pregio - sia di pesce che si terra - ma anche alimentari: salumi, formaggi, frutta e verdura etc. Certo i prezzi non sono "popolari" ma d'agosto al Forte non si può pretenderlo. Alta qualità e cortesia sono comunque assicurate: ci sono stato tante volte e non sono mai rimasto deluso. Raccomando anche il pane, semplicemente spettacolare!

31/07/2024: Very friendly staff, the food is delicious, fair prices not disproportionate compared to other restaurants in the area with much higher prices, fair portions.
31/07/2024: Very good wine tasting - the Brunello madonna Nero 2017 was excellent! Very nice place to discover this wine!
