Positive notes:
Probably the best lampredotto I've ever tasted (I have some experience). The rest is also of a good standard
Bulk wine of much higher quality than the average of similar places (but be careful because if you take a quarter they charge you half a liter which seems to be the common minimum allowed)
Negative notes:
Despite the pleasant simplicity of the environment, the attitude of the staff, who is also efficient, tends to be detached (the friendliness of what appears to be the manager is an optional)
Very high prices for the type of products served, but not in relation to the quality which, as I said, is very good
We stopped by chance on Sunday 9th, we ate very well, the ribollita was delicious as was the porchetta and the tartare, the staff was friendly and quick, prices were fair

For those who decide to visit Siena, they absolutely must stop by Prètto.
Tuscan quality in every dish ranging from platters, meat etc.
Helpful staff and a very nice environment that lets you breathe tradition.
My partner and I in particular chose: a tasting of raw ham, ossobuco, tripe, tartare, black cabbage.
Excellent excellent excellent.
Recommended 5 stars overall.

Accogliente prosciutteria con cucina al centro di Siena, offre prodotti di alta qualità della gastronomia Toscana. Panino con lampredotto stratosferico! Purtroppo c'è un "ma": i prezzi, a dispetto di passate (ma non tanto) foto e recensioni on line, sembrano altamente lievitati. Il panino in questione, credo proposto fino a qualche tempo fa a 5 €, adesso viene servito al piatto con contorno ad un prezzo raddoppiato. Il gestore è sicuramente libero di rivedere i propri menù quando vuole ma dovrebbe altresì dare un'occhiata sul web per rimuovere indicazioni fuorvianti per i turisti di passaggio. Sono ancora segnalati da guida Routard? Beh, dovrebbero uscirne fuori per inseguire magari le stelline della Michelin!
