I HAD NEVER TASTED THE FAMOUS LAMPREDOTTO.....WELL WHAT CAN I SAY......HEAVENLY...LIKE EVERYTHING FROM PRETTO, THE BRUSCHETTA WITH GORGONZOLA WITH HONEY AND PEARS IS DISTURBING....WHEN YOU GO TO SIENA DON'T MISS IT.

Cozy environment, typical Tuscan atmosphere. Excellent km O products. Polite and pleasant service. Don't miss the chopping board and lampredotto

Peccato, era un posto dove andavamo spesso e volentieri, ma con i prezzi che abbiamo trovato ultimamente ci dispiace, ma ci rivedranno poco.

When you enter you find a typical Tuscan restaurant with kind and friendly staff as found in Tuscany. They have good, high-quality typical dishes in abundance. I will return when I pass through Siena.

I had been here three or four times in the past years, I really liked it a lot. I returned this year bringing a guest but I was rather disappointed: menu halved, prices perhaps not doubled but certainly raised exaggeratedly and frankly not proportional to the quality and type of food. It's a shame, there are fewer and fewer "real" taverns and trattorias, and this one too seems to be heading towards becoming the usual tourist-pleasing place like so many in Tuscany. I hope I'm wrong!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Place recommended to us by the waiter at Osteria 4 Venti (their cuisine is exceptional) and it was excellent advice as far as I'm concerned. Booked via the platform found on Google Maps (convenient and practical), we were seated at a large table near other people, with whom we happily spoke during our lunch. Nice and typical place, informal and not confusing. The food was spectacular: the tripe was very tender and delicious and the lampredotto sandwich was a pleasure with every bite. Compliments to the kind and friendly waitress, we stayed a little longer to finish the wine and neither she nor any of the other staff pressured us. Honest and absolutely affordable prices. If I were to return to Siena I will not fail to return here, exceptional!

Walked in for a late lunch, cafe was warm and cozy, quick service. Had a cheese board, white beans I mashed for bruschetta and house wine.

Accogliente prosciutteria con cucina al centro di Siena, offre prodotti di alta qualità della gastronomia Toscana. Panino con lampredotto stratosferico! Purtroppo c'è un "ma": i prezzi, a dispetto di passate (ma non tanto) foto e recensioni on line, sembrano altamente lievitati. Il panino in questione, credo proposto fino a qualche tempo fa a 5 €, adesso viene servito al piatto con contorno ad un prezzo raddoppiato. Il gestore è sicuramente libero di rivedere i propri menù quando vuole ma dovrebbe altresì dare un'occhiata sul web per rimuovere indicazioni fuorvianti per i turisti di passaggio. Sono ancora segnalati da guida Routard? Beh, dovrebbero uscirne fuori per inseguire magari le stelline della Michelin!
