A restaurant in the center of Siena, where we decided to have lunch during our stay. The place is quite well-kept, though it's a shame about some of the seating options (a small makeshift counter/large table shared with strangers) aren't very comfortable. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, and we had a wonderful meal!

Everything was delicious, with attentive and friendly service and very fair prices. A special mention goes to the Chianti tuna, which we enjoyed both in the restaurant and in a sandwich to eat after an evening event: it was the best we've ever tasted.

During our stay in Siena, we visited this restaurant twice, and each time was a confirmation.
We tried the platter of local products, which was truly excellent and fresh, and three dishes from the menu: the beef tartare, the lampredotto (incredible, given how good it was!), and the pappa al pomodoro, simply delicious. Special mention goes to the desserts, which round out the meal in the most perfect way possible.
The bill has always been fair for the quality, and the staff is exquisite and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is an absolutely worthwhile place—and we can't wait to return.

Simple but delicious local food. Always had the porchetta with potatoes when we were here. One surprise is the Tonnata dei Chianti. Tonnato is Italian for Tuna. I will not ruin the surprise. Great place for lunch or a light dinner.
