Historic bar, ideal for breakfast, brioches with ice cream, granitas and arancini. Lots of outdoor tables overlooking the Duomo and seats inside with air

My boyfriend and I came from Naples to Catania and this bar was recommended to us and I absolutely recommend it for the kindness of the staff, availability and friendliness. We had a great time (we had breakfast there every day during our stay in the city). We wanted to thank, in particular, Mr. Ignazio: a serious person, very good at his job, extremely kind and affable. We carry with us a beautiful memory and hope to return soon ❤️

Very good pastries and ice cream. On the other hand, if the service is fast, it will take you time to understand how it works. If you don't speak Italian there is no effort to communicate, no looks, no smile.

I was quite satisfied with the choice of sweets; however, the lack of smiles and kind gestures from the staff, such as simply saying thank you, made the experience less appealing.

Excellent pastry shop in the center of Catania. Exceptional pastas like the very famous granita. Very nice and well-kept environment with friendly and helpful staff.
