Beh, che dire... il gelato alla castagna era semplicemente superbo! Locale comodissimo lungo il corso verso Prato della Valle, attesa più che accettabile, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Sosta senza dubbio consigliata.

An explosion of taste that overwhelmed us and dragged us on a sensorial journey: the aroma of saffron took us to Iran and the rose water made us remember the strong scents of India. From pistachio, kissed by the Mediterranean sun of Sicily, to the salt crystals of the icy snows of the Himalayas. And finally, a Creole chocolate that warmed our hearts. Thank you Gelateria Portugal.

Probably the best ice cream I've ever eaten. There is almost always a queue so arm yourself with patience but know that it's worth it. You would line up a thousand more times.

The staff are patient and kind, despite my Italian being poor. The gelato is the best that I have had in Italy so far, and I will miss it when I leave Padova.

La qualità della materia prima ed evidentemente anche la bravura del gelataio rendono ogni gusto un piacevole viaggio nel sapore scelto. Era di qualità persino il cono. Davvero uno dei migliori gelati mai mangiati.

Particular and unique ice cream flavors almost every day. From autumn to November I discovered here the strong energizing taste of saffron flower and the ginger flavour. The ones I liked the most were the chestnut and the persimmon. It's worth the wait and the price is justified by the refined quality they offer.
