The beer is very drinkable and cold, the food is excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable.

After many years, I'm back at Pozzo Bianco. It was a lovely evening with excellent churrascos galore. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend this pub. It's definitely worth a try. Excellent bread, high-quality cured meats, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. A clean atmosphere with a diverse clientele. Excellent!

I used to frequent this place 35 years ago. It's still as beautiful as it once was, but everything has changed. Service is a bit slow, and the menu offers too much choice. It used to be the beer temple of Città Alta.

If you want to escape the gentrification of Bergamo Alta for a moment, head to Pozzo Bianco, perhaps after visiting Palazzo Moroni (if you're a FAI member, you'll even get a small discount). It's a large cellar, so it's not exactly relaxing for the ears, but the beer list alone is worth the trip, and the food (at least the first courses and Sacher torte we tried) is equally excellent.

11/08/2025: We visited this restaurant for a romantic dinner, and despite booking at the last minute, the entire staff was completely available. We found the atmosphere to be very welcoming. We felt welcomed with great attention, and we immediately realized how much effort and passion goes into each dish. We tried the generous platter, with both cheeses and cured meats (it was hearty!), the very fresh and well-seasoned octopus salad, the delicious seafood spaghetti, the mixed fried fish (a delight!), and the very tasty octopus with chickpea cream. The contrast of the cream with the flavor of the octopus captivated our palates. The pizza, delicious, cooked in a wood-fired oven, has become the symbol of the Vertova Golden Lion! Every month, a new pizza shows so much passion for their craft. As for the desserts, we were absolutely delighted; there was a very kind young man who dedicated himself to the presentation of the dishes with particular attention to the smallest details. I've attached a few photos to demonstrate our satisfaction after the bill! Really competitive and honest prices. We've saved it among our favorite places and we're happy to return often 🥰❤️

17/09/2025: I'd been to this restaurant before over 30 years ago... I wonder why I let so much time pass before this new visit... ugh. Anyway, we had a great time. I chose the seafood menu, but next time (hopefully before 30 years) I absolutely want to try the meat menu. The service, ambiance, and above all, the dishes were top-notch. This time, it was also a little surprise since we're celebrating an anniversary. Well done, recommended.
