A different place than usual, in a "vintage" style made up of sofas and armchairs. The staff was very kind and attentive to customers. Cocktails different from the classics, various platters whose composition had not been exactly described. Space also outside, easy to park. I didn't really like the menu to be consulted on social media (it doesn't mean that everyone is interested in social media) but I couldn't find a paper copy. However, pleasant place, to be recommended.

Locale dall' atmosfera calda e accogliente, con ampio giardino eccellente per feste e aperitivi in compagnia, come per una serata più intima. Personale molto preparato, cortese e disponibile a qualunque richiesta o necessità particolare. Le titolari dimostrano provata esperienza e grande competenza, sia nella cura del cliente, sia nella preparazione dei drink, proponendo una drink list varia e originale, capace di sorprendere per sapori unici e di grande qualita', così come di soddisfare le richieste più particolari. L' ambiente risulta molto pulito e curato nei minimi dettagli. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!!

16/02/2025: We went to dinner on Saturday evening 15/02 with a group of friends, there were 10 of us. We arrived at Campo Smith in Bardonecchia around 7.00pm, we took the chairlift up to the slopes, a snowcat was waiting for us there and transported us to the Chesal refuge. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. The place is charming and the staff are very kind and professional I ate well but I recommend for the future perhaps increasing the doses of polenta and using a more local product, what I ate honestly seemed like the instant one from the supermarket. For the rest nothing to say.
05/02/2025: From the refuge you can enjoy a very suggestive view, the hot chocolate is excellent!

10/02/2025: I had a good time.. the food is still like it used to be.... simple and healthy.... the owners are very kind... if you want they will even wrap up the food you want to take home because you can't finish it... so in the evening you have dinner already made 😍 a little obsolete place.. but it takes a back seat.. the quality of the food comes first.
20/01/2025: I'll be brief: old-time trattoria in the Pianezza area. We were there on Saturday for lunch and there was a midday menu, first course with side dish and drinks (no beer) for €11 (desserts not on the menu obviously but it costs the right amount and you can do the shopping). The quality for the price is excellent, you can't ask for more at that price. I recommend it.
