We had dinner at this restaurant, tucked away in the alleys of Garbatella, which features a small, intimate outdoor courtyard. The staff immediately made us feel at home; they were friendly and very knowledgeable. The menu is varied, offering classic Roman cuisine and pizza, as well as traditional Egyptian specialties, drawing on the owners' Roman-Egyptian roots. We tried the falafel, probably the best we've ever had, and then two Roman-style pizzas. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant, the pasta is delicious, the fish is fantastic. They serve first-class wine by the glass at a very reasonable price. The desserts are fantastic. A dream, highly recommended!

One of the few TRUE and AUTHENTIC Roman restaurants still present in the city. Angelo a guarantee. Extraordinary dishes in their simplicity (the best cacio e pepe in Rome, the best falafel ever tried). 👏🏻👏🏻

Prima di recensire il ristorante mi è capitato di leggere alcuni commenti negativi. È vero, non sarà il locale più alla moda, più instagrammabile e più pulito, ma è qualcosa che a Roma manca: forse i felafel più buoni che abbia mai mangiato, hummus e focaccia deliziosi, trippa e coratella che levate proprio e abbacchio come quello che faceva mia nonna. Ora, a chi ha lasciato una sola stella dico: vi prego, vi supplico, voi che sapete mangiare così bene consigliatemi un posto dove trovare una cucina autentica migliore di questa. Forza Angelo! Io un ricevimento di matrimonio o un veglione di Capodanno da te lo farei! P.S. Anche mia madre (quella nata in Egitto) ha amato i tuoi felafel. Chiara (e Luca)

22/07/2025: The restaurant is well-kept and very welcoming. The presence of cats is noticeable as soon as you enter, due to the distinctive smell of the animals and their litter. Therefore, I advise against it for those who don't like or tolerate the smell, which, in any case, fades away after a short while. Alternatively, you can reserve outside. The dishes are all vegetarian, so if you're used to classic flavors, you might be a little disappointed, but it must be said that they are absolutely refined and presented with care and grace. The staff is always kind and professional. The cats are present on the premises, but they don't bother you at all. They're used to people and go about their business, becoming an additional setting for the restaurant, which, after all, is also their home. They don't mind a few scratches, but they can easily do without! The prices are high in my opinion for the quantity, but the refinement and presentation are worth considering. It's definitely not suitable for those who are hungry, but I eat very little myself and in the end I was just the right amount full.
18/07/2025: Every comment is superficial, just to try! A piece of advice, absolutely do the tasting menu.

09/05/2025: One of the most pleasant places when I return to my city. A sitting room that seems to get lost in the gaze, tastefully furnished, a three-dimensional collage of bygone eras. The owner often organizes activities, exhibitions or musical jam sessions. Inside the venue there are musical instruments and board games, perfect for enjoying a good drink during an aperitif, perhaps in the company of a game or someone playing happily. A place with many souls and a lot of personality.
