Posthotel Weisses Roessl - Cavallino Bianco In Nova levante

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Romantik Hotel Post. The owners were very friendly and the staff were very attentive to our request. This hotel is situated so close to one of the most beautiful Lakes in the Dolomites , Lago di Carezza. The valley is overlooked by the Latemar and Catinaccio mountains. The hotel surroundings capture the very nature of this mountainous region, from the balcony of your comfortable room to the terrace that overlooks manicured lawns, a pool , and well kept grounds , where horses are grazing and relaxing in the fields. But , the most enjoyable part of the stay , was being able to taste the food created by Chef Ivo. I am a very well traveled soul, and have dined in many famous restaurants, and I can assure you that his creativity and attention to detail is at the top of my list of memorable dining experiences. CHAPEAU!! What more can I say,, also thanks to our waiter, Afti, who was truly entertaining and courteous. I can honestly say that we will be returning to this place and most likely with some close friends.

A Nova Levante non ci sono molti posti dove mangiare ma questo è uno da visitare sicuramente! Il personale è stato gentile, cordiale e ci ha messo a nostro agio in un ambiente che non era propriamente il nostro. I piatti che si trovano alla carta, a cui vanno poi aggiunti quelli del giorno che vengono proposti ai loro ospiti, erano particolarmente gustosi e diametralmente opposti per sapori: i tagliolini con il ragù, corposi e sapidi, si contrapponevano al delicatissimo pesto all'ortica con cui sono stati conditi gli gnocchi. Incredibile è stato lo strudel caldo finale con la salsa di gelato alla vaniglia. Pensavamo di spendere molto di più ma il prezzo è ancora contenuto rispetto alla struttura in cui si trova il ristorante. Ci torneremo!
