The place has bad reviews because of the price of the gelato. The food was really nice, staff were busy but nice. The ravioli was very tasty and enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Central Amalfi overlooking St.Andrews Cathedral, delicious food and atmosphere here, however prices fairly high and unexpected. Finished our meals and ordered a local favourite Lemon Sorbet only to find once receiving the bill it was €15!

I tasted the sorbet in the lemon shell for the first time, and it was delicious. A bit exaggerated in price, €12, also because they have lower prices in the surrounding area.

Posto incantevole nel pieno centro di Amalfi, dove gustare tante prelibatezze Ottimo il sorbetto al limone. Personale cortese e disponibile.

Not sure why this place has 1.9 reviews, I get the prices are high, but that is the same across the Amalfi restaurants. The pesto ravioli was so incredible as well as the Cesar salad, one of the best I have had in Italy. Service was quick and lovely and you get views of the cathedaral

CHIOSCO "IS ARUTTAS"

24/08/2024: Locale in spiaggia organizzato in servizio bar, con tavoli all'esterno, e sala ristorante. Menù ristorante poco vario. Buoni i panini imbottiti, di vario genere, al costo di 6 euro.

16/10/2023: Zonder op Tripadvisor gekeken te hebben hier gegeten. Met het eten was niets mis, we kozen het menu van 20,- met een 1/2 ltr witte wijn en water (not included) . Het is eenvtypisch Italiaans restaurant, het eten wordt in een (te) hoog tempo geserveerd, maar het was lekker (maar de gegrilde vis wel erg droog). Maar je zit direct aan zee! Het eten wordt op tafel geknald, maar smaakte goed, de bediening is gewoon niet ingespeeld op een veel te veel vragende toerist, maar doet wat ze al tientallen jaren doen vis smakelijk serveren.
10/10/2023: Locale arredato con semplicità dove puoi mangiare letteralmente sul mare nella veranda sfiorata dalle onde. Il menù è di pesce e si può prendere il menù fisso a 25€ o scegliere il pesce nella pescheria a fianco. Piatti super abbondanti, servizio veloce. La signora sembra un po' brusca ma in realtà è gentile e asseconda le richieste. Conosco il ristorante da anni, ci ho sempre mangiato bene e appena posso ci porto nuovi amici per serate in allegria e buon pesce.
