The staff were very friendly, and the place is historic. The Piedmontese mixed antipasto was good, and the onion soup was very good. The hazelnut cake was also very good.

Historic trattoria in the center of Turin. Parking outside is difficult to find due to its location. The interior has a vintage feel and could probably use some renovation. The staff is very young, friendly, and always attentive to the needs of their guests. The menu is purely traditional Piedmontese. Everything is very good and well-cooked. Excellent wine selection. Prices are average. I recommend it.

If I could, I'd give it 6 stars in all categories. The place is a little gem on the edge of Piazza Vittorio Veneto. They had already won my heart when I called to make a reservation. The place is intimate and charming; the photos on the stairwell wall show VIP clientele, but the atmosphere is truly family-friendly. The food is excellent; I went to try the gran bollito Torino, and my only regret is not having a second stomach. The wine selection is excellent. The staff's recommendations are perfect. The customer service is astonishing, and the prices are reasonable. The service is fast and impeccable. The courtesy is unique; I highly recommend it!

It's a historic venue, both for its ambiance and its dishes. The staff is very friendly and serves traditional dishes. I'm quite satisfied.

Amazing Food! A must visit if you are in Turin 🇮🇹

A truly historic trattoria, the rooms, with their authentic buaserie and chandeliers from the early 20th century, immerse diners in an atmosphere of a decidedly distant past. The menu is naturally typical Piedmontese, from appetizers to dessert. We had the mixed antipasti, which were truly delicious and true to tradition, followed by agnolotti and two types of risotto. The one with sausage and artichokes was excellent, but the one with saffron, chicken livers, and caramelized onion was less so; the excessive amount of the latter compromised the balance of the dish, making it overly sweet. As for the desserts, they were much appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient, despite the tables being too close together. The bill was not excessive. It was a pleasant experience, and we'll be back to try other dishes.

My husband and I really liked this restaurant, and it's no small feat because my husband is Italian and the chef himself. It's wonderfully located—deep in a famous historic square—and has a wonderful atmosphere of an old, cozy place with wooden furniture and paneling. The food is delicious, home-style, and the waiters and reception staff are very welcoming. I recommend the brazzato and meat ravioli. I don't recommend the Robespierre sauce. The sauce is simply mustard and cream. But the sauces for the ravioli and braised meats are incredibly delicious. Definitely try this restaurant!

Typical Piedmontese restaurant, clean place, good appetizers, the fillet steak with green pepper... very tender, shame about the mustard... it was too strong... the mixed fried food was well done... the baked potatoes on the side... not received... the desserts were good and original... attentive and kind staff

It's great option for having good local food and friendly atmosphere

A historic Turin restaurant, I went to Porto two weeks ago with a group of friends. Honestly, I expected more given the prices. The appetizers were modest, except for the excellent vitello tonnato. The first courses were fairly mediocre. The second courses were not bad, except for the very fine one with arugula and tomatoes: a boneless, greasy steak topped with four roughly chopped tomato slices and four sprigs of arugula. The desserts were quite good. The wine selection was excellent.
