My partner and I had lunch at this historic restaurant in Turin. We tried an appetizer and a traditional Piedmontese first course, which were average, without any particular highlights. The dessert, however, definitely deserves a special mention: the bonet was truly exquisite, rich and well-made, the perfect end to the meal. The service was courteous. The bill seemed a bit high for the overall experience.

Historic restaurant in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Turin, with a pleasant, old-fashioned atmosphere. We tried the veal with tuna sauce, the braised ravioli, and the braised beef with baked potatoes. The meat was very tender, but the dishes lacked flavor. The tiramisu wasn't to my taste, as I found it too alcoholic and bitter. The panna cotta, however, was decent. The service was friendly. The interior is air conditioned. I'll be back to try more.

My torinese husband is so happy with all of the food. Zucchini flowers, Veal with tuna sauce and tajarin. Don't forget to finish with Tiramisu.

All’interno si percepisce una bella atmosfera da ristorante di altri tempi, ma anche il dehor nella splendida piazza rende merito a questo storico ristorante torinese.
La cucina è mediamente molto buona (nota di merito per il brasato al Barolo, gli agnolotti al sugo d’arrosto, il bonet, la ratatouille e il risotto agli asparagi), qualche piatto (la schiacciatissima) meno convincente; il servizio è cortese ed efficiente (salvo qualche comprensibile attesa in ore di punta) ed i prezzi congrui (vedi foto conto) rispetto alle materie prime ed alla location.
Nel suo genere rimane uno dei migliori ristoranti cittadini del centro che puntano sulla cucina piemontese.
Consiglio e ritornerò con altri amici e parenti
P.S.: molto interessanti ed a buon prezzo (€ 40-45., bevande escluse) i menù fissi proposti.

Ristorante davvero particolare in pieno centro a Torino. Si respira un'atmosfera di storia e sapori. Personale gentilissimo e cibo ottimo, con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Da non perdere assolutamente il vitello tonnato, squisito e unico. Consigliata la prenotazione.
