On the advice of the staff at the Hotel Roma's reception, I drove the 20 km to get here, and it was worth it. I had the Taranto-style mussels with toasted bread, plentiful and just the right amount of spicy; I even drank the sauce afterward. That might have been enough, but then I also had the fried calamari and shrimp: a generous portion, crispy and tender, the shrimp already peeled, and they went down like cherries, one bite led to another! Exceptional, I had enough on the return trip for dinner two days later. The fried seafood and battered vegetables were always exceptional.

This restaurant serves the freshest fish and freshly fried seafood. We've had several dishes, and they've all been delicious. Even though they don't offer table service, they prepare the dishes very quickly. The restaurant is spacious, both inside and out. Highly recommended!

Four of us had lunch. The food was average-good quality, cooked to order. The first courses were good, the fried food a bit rubbery, and the portions were generous. Service was mediocre. Many people complained about not having received anything after waiting over 30 minutes. There's no service; you collect your food at the counter on trays you order. Prices are high for the quality of the place. You pay a cover charge (but there's no service), and the bread costs €3 for a basket (5 half slices), which isn't even fresh bread, but reheated slices that they sell as toast. Furthermore, you have to wait for the bread as if it were a course, and it never arrives (for us, it arrived at the end of the meal). It's absurd. Overall, the food is good, but there's a lot of room for improvement. It's still a bit of a self-service affair.

Self-service: Mixed fried fish, fried sardines, French fries, water, and wine—all really good, quick, and reasonably priced. Must try!

Insiders. Few to no tourists. Highly recommended for those who like seafood, fish, and shellfish. Self-service.
