A charming restaurant located on the Gallipoli seafront. We dined at the outdoor tables, with fast, unobtrusive service, and a family-run establishment.
Traditional Salento cuisine, slightly revisited without distorting its origins, was cooked to perfection, from the rice, potatoes, and mussels (which reminded me of the flavors of home) to the cod with ginger on mashed potatoes, with a complimentary sample of delicious chicory and broad beans, fresh tuna cooked to perfection, and squid in a pignata (a traditional dish) for mopping up the sauce.
Coffee with homemade pastries and an excellent local wine list.
We'll definitely be back.

Spectacular, to say the least. Be wary of all the "touristy" places in Gallipoli. This restaurant is family-run, serves perfectly prepared traditional dishes, and is extremely friendly. It goes without saying that this is my third time here, and I'll always be back. (The orecchiette are AMAZING.) Thank you so much for welcoming us to Puglia like this. ❤️

A truly quaint little place, excellent food, quality seafood, and very fair prices! It's family-run, and everyone is friendly and cheerful. We went back twice in a row during our short vacation because it's hard to find a good place in a central location with so many touristy spots where you risk not eating so well. We'll definitely be back ❤️

The Osteria Porto Antico is a gem. Found by chance in the narrow streets of the historic center, we were immediately struck by the atmosphere and the kindness of the owners. We ate very well and paid a fair price.
They bring you an excellent welcome entree.
The handmade orecchiette are a delight.

Ristorante a conduzione familiare,consigliato da uno del posto,situato all’inizio del centro storico con vista porto.Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.Antipasti e primi buonissimi.Prima di iniziare portano un benvenuto.Servizio attento e il cameriere (penso sia il figlio)gentilissimo.Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.Super consigliato!
