Porcaria - Il Panino Gourmet In Lecce

Wonderful place and above all with amazing pucce, we ate a Goya and a Van Gogh all washed down with their Mascot draught beer (highly recommended) and we were amazed, we will definitely be back to try other pucce, given the vast choice... CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Despite the name, the panino is delicious. I got a panino and a medium beer, and it came to €14.50.

I had the pleasure of trying Porcaria, a sandwich shop located in the beautiful historic center of Lecce. From the first bite, you can clearly sense the attention to the quality of the ingredients, which are of the highest quality. Options for every palate, from vegetarian to gluten-free. For the first time in my life, I tried the fish cured meats, something truly exceptional! It felt like eating in a real museum, with relaxing background music. Fair prices. The young and well-organized staff is truly kind and attentive to the customer. I highly recommend!

First impressions: really cute concept. The place was empty and we asked if we could sit at some tables that looked inspiring and comfortable, but we were told we could only choose between two tables in a corner that was also really shady and sticky. But never mind, I ordered a vegan sandwich since I've been vegetarian for 8 years, actually it's the first time I've paid 8 euros for a roll (hot on one side, ice cold on the other), stuffed with literally 2 cherry tomato halves, 2 slices of avocado, and one of lettuce... not to mention the aesthetically pleasing bathrooms, but: the women's one doesn't work, the soap is diluted, and the air is cold for your hands... they definitely could improve a lot.
