An authentic, high-quality sushi bar. The menu offers traditional Japanese dishes prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The chirashi is truly excellent and well-seasoned. The interior is small but very quaint and welcoming, while outside there are several tables ideal for a quiet dinner. A great place for those seeking an authentic Japanese experience, different from the usual all-you-can-eat restaurants.

The food was delicious, and best of all, it came out quickly. The seating was cramped, but the atmosphere was pleasant, so it was fine. However, water was 3 euros, and I'd prefer a regular plastic bottle.

One of my favourite spots in town for Japanese food. The menu is not huge but still has a very interesting variety. I have tried different things in the many times I’ve come here. The Unagi don still hits the spot - the eel meat is tender and melts in your mouth and the sauce is just delicious. The fried squid is also another must - so delicious! Many roll options if interested in eating sushi. Mr Shiro Poporoya is such a lovely host, always smiling and greeting his customers. Totally recommend this place.

I've been going to various Japanese restaurants for 30 years, and this experience was like eating Japanese food for the first time. To be honest, not everything was to my taste, but I appreciate the high quality and craftsmanship. For example, I wasn't sold on TAKO WASA, but the TOKUJYOU sushi mix and the 3-piece sashimi were divine! The Ciari wine didn't pair well, but the Sopra Riva wine did, although perhaps it could be better. The welcome was very friendly and the service was prompt. The restaurant is cozy, but considering the quality, it could be more upscale.

Poporoya sempre una certezza, non sbagli mai, abbiamo portato una collega di Roma che è rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa. Insomma si fa sempre una gran bella figura!!!

02/12/2025: The food is good and features very unique dishes; I recommend the eggplant and pork belly bao. Be careful with the bottles of wine; the cheapest one is €30, so it's easy to go over the price. I recommend booking.
13/11/2025: The 2025 grand tour of Milan's oriental cuisine couldn't have ended so well. A welcoming place, furnished with care and originality, impeccable service, and easy to reach by public transport. Excellent cuisine.
