Poormanger In Torino

This place makes stuffed potatoes. Lots of combinations. I had the potato with burrata and prosciutto. Delicious! Another typical Piedmontese dish is the caramelized peach with chocolate mousse and amaretti biscuits. The waiters are friendly and quick.

Perfect appetizers and stuffed potatoes! In the summer, maybe just one of the two is enough to fill you up 😊

The food was excellent, but the service was reluctant and unfriendly. No one came for a long time to pay. I had to go to the cash register and there was a queue like at McDonald's, because they obviously have few staff and the young man at the cash register was also making coffee... shame about the service. I recommend the food.

Roasted potatoes with their skins, filled with various ingredients or whatever you like. Other dishes, too. Everything is delicious.

I would suggest choosing potatoes with some cream, to better bind the flavors!

Great place, even though we arrived just before closing time they were very helpful and the service was very fast. It was the first time we ate this kind of potatoes, but we had heard a lot of good things about them, quite satisfying. Recommended!

Un concept simple: d'énormes patates cuites au four avce plein d'ingrédients pour plein de variante différentes. Un resto très populaire à Turin et très achalandé, Bon je n'ai pas été conquise. C'était bon et simple, pas bien cher, mais sans plus non plus. Bref pas forcément incroyable !

Il mio voto in “pallini” è sempre un fatto relativo, è cioè commisurato a quel tipo di ristorante (lussuoso o catapecchia, di gran moda o vera scoperta, ecc.) e alle mie conseguenti - e personalissime - attese. Quindi il punteggio pieno che riconosco al Poormanger di via Maria Vittoria (dove ci si mette in coda perché non si può prenotare, i tavoli sono spartani, il casino è grande, e il menu è composto al 90% di patate alla brace con decine dei più diversi ripieni, ecc. ) non significano che in assoluto ho mangiato meglio che in altri ristoranti, significano solo che ho passato un momento molto piacevole, grazie a quello che mi hanno portato (una grande patata contenente un alto ziggurat di buona e digeribile salciccia, ricoperta da una fonduta di toma, il tutto accompagnato da un quartino di un rosso più che accettabile), alla simpatia del personale, e infine all’incredibile conto (13 euro con vino e caffè)!
