We stopped here on our stroll through the city (our original destination restaurant was closed)... and we didn't regret it.
The menu is concise, and the main course always seems to be based on a grilled baked potato and other ingredients.
We had a Piedmontese plate for starters (for two) - four small appetizers with bread... it was good.
Then the main course - I had n'duja, onions, cheese... very tasty.
With a light white wine.
We sat outside - typical by the street on a small covered platform at tables that were much too small :-)
Overall, everything was good and tasty... maybe not top-notch... but when you look at the bill, you're a little surprised: A truly incredible value for money.

I quite like this place; I go there from time to time. The food is very good and reasonably priced (based on stuffed potatoes with Italian ingredients and a few typical Italian or Piedmont dishes, such as parmigiana or vitello tonnato).
The service is adequate and the place is pleasant. Highly recommended.

Poormanger brought the potato to Turin. He was the first ever. Good potato, with a wide selection that varies over time. Intentionally vintage environment, with floral wallpaper. Choice that is not limited to steamed potatoes but also to cream soups. Excellent parmigiana. I ate the potato carbonara. Not bad!!

If you are curious to try a poor food that we are no longer used to: the proposed dish is a soft and tasty potato cooked in the oven, cut in half and stuffed with various ingredients, like a sandwich, just choose from the options offered. It seems small but filling. We nevertheless added a small platter of cold cuts to share, good but not exceptional. Tiramisu was very good according to the children, who had to overcome their initial skepticism to face the potato, not very comfortable to eat as it was served in a small bowl. We expected a lower price anyway given the portions and ingredients.

Had the patata n'duja and pannacocca... both were underwelming: the potato tasted solely of (semi)caramelized onions, and the pannacocca had a bad texture (frozen?)

We ate at the tables outside. In respect of those who do not smoke..... SMOKING IS RIGHTLY FORBIDDEN, even outdoors.
We are smokers but we appreciated this directive anyway.

Un concept simple: d'énormes patates cuites au four avce plein d'ingrédients pour plein de variante différentes. Un resto très populaire à Turin et très achalandé, Bon je n'ai pas été conquise. C'était bon et simple, pas bien cher, mais sans plus non plus. Bref pas forcément incroyable !

Pranzo con amici di questo locale, un po' lunga l'attesa (quando siamo arrivati ci hanno preso la prenotazione dicendo di tornare quaranta minuti dopo), buona varietà di patate, personale gentile, buon gusto, prezzi non economici ma con una portata ci siamo saziati.
