The place is welcoming, as is the service. The menu is decent, and is typically pub/pizzeria-style, but everything is cooked with excellent ingredients and meticulous attention to detail.

Fantastic location, impeccable service, and extremely friendly waiters, especially Rosario, who was always available and attentive to the customer's needs and very knowledgeable. The food arrived quickly and was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Good pizza and good place. The inside room is really nice. The "outside" is covered even in this hot period, so relatively summery. It's not my style in general as a location. Recommended anyway. A+

Always beautiful location. The food is the best you can find, both for the quality of the products used and certainly for the workmanship. This time I was a little disappointed by the service. I always eat the carrot wheel pizza and so we ordered it. I think the person who served us was not very attentive because instead they brought us normal pizza. And from the photos you can see why I prefer it carrot wheel. Anyway I left a tip anyway. It was a mistake. I hope so.

Comodo locale al centro di Pompei, proprio accanto alla stazione centrale. Parcheggio a pagamento ( quello della stazione) 2€ all'ora. Personale gentile, cibo buono e ampia scelta. Bel luogo per trascorrere una bella serata.

Ero stato in questo posto credo all’inizio della loro attività, circa 7 anni fa se non erro e credevo di averlo già recensito , però avevo solo provato la pizza , Ono ritornato adesso e abbiamo provato altro panini e carne . Lo trovo molto buono in tutto . Gentilezza del personale e molta attenzione e velocità anche il Sabato sera nelle situazioni di sovraffollamento. Veramente complimenti a tutto il personale e a chi gestisce il Ristorante. Tutto molto buono e molto bello. Poi leggo delle recensioni che dicono che sono troppo veloci, ed altre che dicono che sono troppo lenti . Rimango basito che qualcuno si lamenta dei modi del personale,che io ho trovato eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista.

During my recent stay in Naples, I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria San Gennaro, and I can say without hesitation that it was a simply exceptional culinary experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who immediately made us feel at ease. The atmosphere was authentic and lively, just as you'd expect from a true Neapolitan pizzeria. But let's get to the food: a true delight! We started with a fritto misto, which was crispy, light, and not at all greasy—a true feast for the palate and the perfect appetizer. Then, of course, came the pizza. I tried a classic Margherita and was blown away by the softness of the dough, the quality of the ingredients, and the unmistakable flavor of a true Neapolitan pizza. Every bite was a journey of authentic flavors. The staff, besides being extremely courteous, was attentive to our every need, making the evening even more enjoyable. In short, Pizzeria San Gennaro isn't just a place to eat, but a place to enjoy an authentic Neapolitan gastronomic experience. If you're looking for fabulous food, excellent fried fish and pizza, and a welcoming staff, this is definitely the place for you. I can't wait to go back!

01/07/2025: Very good pizza (we ordered buffalo pizza but not sure it was really it or just a simple margarita) but very bad serving. The lady had no interest in making us feel welcomed by any means. Cheap comercial music altered the very nice view of the sea.
25/06/2025: The pizza toppings are original and very good, but the dough is slightly too elastic. The location is an outdoor area in a structure with glass windows and unstable parquet that swayed under the waiters' too-fast steps and that made the table move. The real flaw, however, is the waiting time: 50 minutes. There are several people moving around the open kitchen and in the dining room, but in fact only one small oven and only one person who bakes and takes out the food.
