Best carbonara in town and the house wine is amazing! Went here 10 years ago and just came back and it’s still as amazing as I remember!

We went because we saw Stanley Tucci’s IG posting raving about the restaurant. Unfortunately the place did not live up to the hype. The food was ok and was not good value considering we spent over EUR40 per person without only one glass of wine. Service was lacklustre (although friendly).

You will find nothing like this anywhere in the world! Kindness, laughter, joy, friendliness, simplicity, perfection... in everything. The scents your soul will smell exist nowhere else. Amedeo is a genius and a lover of tradition...the real one. How to eat at Pommidoro... you don't eat anywhere in the world.

Do you look for authentic Italian restaurant with absolutley delicious food and atmosphere? Visit Pommidoro dal 1890! Lovely place, they have even prepared something for us that was not on the menu … Aglio e Olio” … as we really wanted to try this dish in Italy on our last day of the visit in this country! Great food, great service, great family feel to the restaurant too!

Amazing food in a neighbourhood restaurant. Carbonara was amazing. Rabbit was delicious. People from the neighbourhood gathered on the patio with a guitar to hang out. Definitely felt like a local joint!

05/07/2024: The aesthetics of the restaurant are modest, but the quality and courtesy are starry! Excellent appetizers and delicious Roman pizza, thin and tasty, the staff were really kind and well prepared even in managing the unexpected, really smart!!!
