We wanted to try the proposal of this place in the Trastevere area. We had a great time for a Sunday lunch. If you like meatballs you are in the right place, because they prepare all types.

I had wanted to taste this cuisine for a long time... what can I say, I had a first course of spaghettoni, meatballs with sauce and very good parmesan... the other guests who were with me ate first courses, second courses and dessert... all tasty. Trastevere is full of characteristic restaurants but this one isn't bad. Must try. Very kind staff.

Bella sorpresa scoperta per caso a trastevere, ci siamo lasciati trascinare dal nome e non siamo stati delusi. Il ristorante offre varie topologie di polpette e piatti stile romano. Abbiamo provato gli antipasti fatti da polpette fritte con ricotta e confit di pomodoro, spettacolari. Abbiamo diviso il cesto di polpette con 4 per ogni tipo di polpette classiche al sugo, fritte, salsiccia e friarielli, patate e cavolo nero e alla gricia. Tutte buonissime. Ci sono anche i primi piatti classici della cucina romana leggermente rivisitati con qualche aggiunta di ingrediente a forma di polpetta. Menzione speciale per i dolci che consistevano in polpette di vari dolci con le creme. Io ho preso polpette di pandoro e crema mascarpone,spettacolare. Molto buone le palline tiramisù e cheescake. Prezzi assolutamente abbordabili. Personale gentilissimo w servizio veloce. Davvero tutto ottimo!

Unconventional menu, of decent quality, not cheap

Let me start by saying: everything we ate was excellent. By excellent I mean high quality. We ordered a box with all the flavors of meatballs and... My goodness, what a delight... Plus a carbonara for my son: among the best I've eaten in my life (I've tasted it too). Why did I give it 3 stars? The service. I place the order and ask for the Cokes to be served to me with the food: nothing, they arrive immediately. We order the carbonara and after 10 minutes the waiter comes to ask us if it was Pasta alla Carbonara or meatballs… We order a box of meatballs (€26) and 2 arrive... Oh no: you take one back. They put the box of meatballs at my table and I have no plates and no bread. Then my wife and I ran out of meatballs and my son's carbonara didn't arrive: like 25 minutes later and above all with 2 reminders, the carbonara arrived (they had completely forgotten about it). Yet the place was half empty. I hope my review is constructive for the kids because the place has so much potential.

Very friendly staff, quaint atmosphere, excellent food. We got the boxes of meatballs and some sweets. It was all very good. I recommend it
