Poldo Streetfood In Catania

Personally I think it is one of the best burgers in Catania (if not the best), at least in the entire central area, among a thousand sandwich shops that sell fried air and which never fully satisfy. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious, each sandwich is always a delight. It may seem trivial, but what many often forget is that a good burger starts from the BREAD, which is always fresh and delicious, rather than being cheap like in most sandwich shops. The staff is very friendly and kind, the prices are honest and in line with the market. Unfortunately, I'm afraid they don't make home deliveries (a site is indicated, but it doesn't work, and I've never found it in the delivery apps), but in some ways it's a good thing: being such a good sandwich, it should be enjoyed on the spot as soon as it's ready. ready, and being in the central Via Umberto it is worth taking a walk to reach it. The place is small but has its own style, nice and clean. Keep it up, well done!

The owner is very nice and the food is quality

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo locale con la mia famiglia. Ambienti puliti, Servizio veloce, personale accogliente, qualità del cibo alta, panino molto gustoso e molto abbondante . Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Sicuramente diventerà il mio punto di riferimento per quando avrò voglia di un super hamburger. P.S fanno anche piadine, pinze, hanno il menù bimbi, e tanto altro, insomma per tutti i gusti. Complimenti ancora.

Excellent and varied selection of dishes, tasty and quality food. They also have a gluten free menu. Welcoming and friendly staff. The place is nice and well-kept, the only problem is the very small size and the few seats, but they say that they will soon add some tables outside. The hotdog without the bun was exactly what I was looking for and it tastes good! he and his wife do a phenomenal job at creating the service for the community and his restaurant/home. He is very enthused about doing his job and providing service for his customers. BE CAREFUL❗️ The hotdog without the bun is so good you will want another one. 🫶🏾 I told him I wanted to at first because I was hungry. And when he told me that it was pretty long, I said OK let me try one first. I thought I could handle eating too, but I barely finished the second one because I was full before I knew it. 😄 one hotdog and a boat full of fries will be plenty I’m sure. But if you think you can handle another hotdog, then go for it. Ps. This was my first time in Catania, Italy 🇮🇹 eating at Poldo Street food and once I return, I will be back to Poldo to try their burgers 🍔. Peace ☮️, Love 💛 and happiness 😊

Il locale è piccolo, ma ben pulito ordinato e accogliente. Il personale (i proprietari), gentilissimi, molto simpatici e garbati. I panini, anche quelli meet free, gustosi e preparati veramente bene: la freschezza e la qualità delle materie prime fanno la differenza. Quanto pagato è un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' sempre un punto di riferimento per un buon pasto.
