POLDO & LIVIA In Porto san giorgio

Me and my two local friends came here a few days ago. My local friend recommended this place as "affordable with good food". And I fully agree with that! We have some appetizers like saute'd cozze (clams) and tuna steak and whole stuffed calamoro as mains. Along with some house white wine we also tried the traditional italian sponge and cream dessert called Zuppa Inglese (english soup). Food was delicious and sitting outised on the open yet sun covered patio was a pure delight. Staff didn't speak english much, as typical in smaller italian towns that cater mainly to italian tourists and are not used to foreigners. But the language is not a huge barrier as I noticed from how easy it was to manage by some Australian tourists sitting at the next table from us. Highly recommend this place for a non-pretentious lunch or dinner

A beautiful location by the sea. Well-organized chalet and family-run restaurant. Always fresh food and excellent service.
