Where to start: the agriturismo is located high up, so to get there you have to travel along mountain roads with many curves. Once you reach the top, you enter a bubble of nature and well-being. Serena and Alessandro, along with all their delightful four-legged friends, were more than generous hosts. We stayed in the olive tree with a couple of our friends and our girls. The house has all the basic necessities. Simple and welcoming, with a beautiful fireplace creating a warm atmosphere. For our first dinner, we decided to rely on them, and we were right. A typical Tuscan dinner, mouth-watering. We were even more amazed by the fact that everything was gluten-free and homemade. From appetizers to dessert, it was a sensational experience. Our girls enjoyed the company of so many animals, even being able to watch them eat. Dante the wild boar will remain in our hearts. We will definitely return for more wonderful days. We spent a wonderful week with Alessandro, Serena, and Vittorio. They are very friendly, attentive, hospitable, and always ready to help. The location is truly beautiful, and the pool is lovely, with its own parasol and sunbeds. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, fresh, and authentic Italian—highly recommended! They also cater to dietary requirements. There's also an honesty bar by the pool and a more luxurious honesty lounge a little further up. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, allowing us to catch up on some essential work. We stayed in a simple two-room apartment with a kitchenette for two people (with air conditioning), which unfortunately was located in a walkway. This made it a bit unsettling for us, especially considering the number of children staying there that week. We saw that the children certainly had a blast. From the reviews, I understand there are more luxurious apartments, which I would recommend more than the one we booked. Regardless, it's a beautiful and very friendly place. It was a wonderful experience!

Great location on the mountain with a beautiful pool, spacious grounds, and a very child-friendly environment. The children were able to move around freely and were occasionally allowed to help out at the stables. Riding lessons are only available for ages 10 and up. The food is great, but it comes at a price. If you book one of the apartments, you can also cater for yourself. The nearest supermarket is in Rufina, about a 10-minute drive away. Our apartment was spacious, but unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't so nice. Getting the water hot was a challenge, and it didn't stay hot for long. Our bathroom ventilation didn't work very well, so the bathroom always had a musty smell. The air conditioning was important, and it worked perfectly and ensured peaceful nights. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. The two hosts are very welcoming.

We had a wonderful week with our three children on Serena and Alessandro's farm. We particularly enjoyed the wonderfully delicious breakfast and the sensational dinner. Because the farm is so family-friendly, the pool was never too crowded, and we were able to truly enjoy it. The children didn't want to leave and especially loved the daily animal feeding and pony rides. We had the Pruno apartment, which had arguably the most beautiful view from its own terrace. We would especially like to mention Anna, who, with her friendly manner, made every breakfast special and even accommodated our children's special requests without any problems. A big thank you to Serena and Alessandro for an unforgettable time!

We stayed 4 nights at Agritorismo Podere il Poggiolo. What a great experience that was. It is just cozy and relaxed. Alessandro and Serena are super sweet nice people and nothing is too much. The girls who assist are also super nice and friendly. If you stay here you should experience the super breakfast as far as we are concerned, but also the dinner. Serena cooks the most delicious dishes and Alessandro serves them. The swimming pool is also brilliant. Each house/room has its own parasol with sunbeds and a bag with 2 towels. There is a sitting area under a canopy at the pool, where you can get coffee, drinks and ice cream if you write it on the note of your house. If you can't relax here, it's really your own fault. I could go on for another hour but I'm going to experience it for myself! Really a top address. We are continuing our 3-week trip through Tuscany but I'm afraid we've already had the best at the beginning.
