23/10/2025: The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately puts us at ease.
We order the trio of appetizers, plus a shared Russian salad: all the flavors are clear and right; the freshest tomino cheese and the perfect green sauce; the cooking technique for the vitello tonnato modernizes the value of tradition, maintaining its evident quality, which begins with the raw ingredients. This adherence to tradition doesn't prevent pleasant surprises from appearing with unexpected aromas, expertly and meticulously scattered on the serving plates, perhaps the fragrance of a tiny lavender flower...
We continue with the Scialatielli with sardines and wild fennel (and everything else you need): sumptuous, with a rich sauce that preserves the intensity of the fish's flavor, the sweet and spicy interplay is perfectly balanced.
We finish with the Baked Pumpkin, comforting and tasty.
We drank a well-balanced Barbera, chosen from the bulk wine selection.
The prices were more than fair, and the service was punctual and attentive.
