I was walking around Turin and, having read many positive reviews of this place, and after having seen many photos of their dishes on social media, I decided with my son to try their plin. We booked and were kindly welcomed by the owner. In the menus, honestly, the embarrassment of choice of various dishes, plin and tajarin prepared in many ways and it was not easy to choose! I was tempted by the plin with castelmagno and, I'm not ashamed, I even mopped it up! My son instead had them with tomato and Bra sausage, delicious! The entrees also deserve a special mention, served in glass bowls together with hot and fragrant croutons! Not having much time available we moved on to dessert and I was tempted by their bonet, not the usual one you expect but a recipe modified by grandma Sandrina, excellent to say the least, served with a bowl of hot chocolate to add at the moment! Finally a coffee, Jamaica Blue Mountain whose flavor has remained in my mind, I have never drunk better coffee. Coffee lovers will surely appreciate it, since it is highly appreciated worldwide for its flavor and, as a final treat, together with the coffee another bowl arrived with a very welcome surprise that I will leave to those who will have the pleasure of tasting it to discover! Prices proportionate to the high quality of the ingredients, impeccable preparation, excellent service! I recommend everyone to try this experience and above all book because there are few places!

A Piedmontese gem to be enjoyed discreetly
I've been wanting to discover Pin e Tajarin for a while, and I have absolutely no regrets about finally taking the plunge. This small, intimate restaurant—finally, a restaurant where you can get along!—with very few tables, is a secret spot you'd almost like to keep to yourself.
The setting is warm, the welcome sincere, almost familial—you immediately feel at ease. A family business, Pin e Tajarin showcases authentic, generous, and perfectly executed Piedmontese cuisine. Everything is homemade, with particular attention paid to the ingredients, the cooking, and the flavors: it's local cuisine, precise and vibrant.
The service is on point, attentive without ever overdoing it. And what about the selection of wines and coffees: demanding, sophisticated, and tastefully chosen. Here, the coffee is selected like a wine, from the finest terroirs of producers, to end the meal on a note as noble as the dishes that preceded it.
A wonderful discovery, deeply human and sincere. A place we'll happily return to—and one we recommend to those who appreciate the essentials.
Fast food is a no-go!

As soon as you cross the threshold of the restaurant, you immediately feel like you are entering a living room at home: warm, welcoming, with attention to every detail. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a gastronomic experience that goes far beyond simply "eating out".
Mr. Mario's welcome is something you will never forget: friendly, genuine and reassuring. With his sincere smile and his attention, he makes you feel immediately at ease.
The service is impeccable, attentive and the cuisine surprises with its quality, balance and passion. Each dish is prepared with excellent ingredients and presented with elegance. You can feel the love for tradition that makes the experience unique.
A place where you will gladly return, not only for the extraordinary food, but also for the family atmosphere that he manages to create

"Small" Turin wonder.
Delicious traditional cuisine in a restaurant with an alternative and unique atmosphere with a handful of seats.
In addition to plin and tajarin, they bring artisanal savoury compounds as an appetizer and as a pre-dessert, and then curious and tasty desserts.
The pasta is delicious, as are the condiments.
The wine, not in bottles, is brought in a small bottle instead of the usual carafe
The desserts here are also traditional with reinterpretations.
The staff is extremely friendly and the prices are excellent if compared to the quality and quantity of the food.
10/10!
(I also point out the presence of Vegan plin!)

One of the best restaurants in all of Turin! I've been there several times and it's always a guarantee! Delicious food all hand-made by them...and you can taste it! Truly unbeatable price/performance! Not to mention the sweetness they always reserve for the service! You can see that there is love and passion!

Our first dinner in Turin and it turned out to be the most authentic and traditional meal across the two days we spent there. They offer a couple of different sets which comprise of a starter of bread and dips, followed by plin or tajarin (or both) cooked a variety of sauces and then by a dessert of your choice. It is a lot of food so be prepared to go in hungry. The plin had the thinnest skin and handmade delicately, the tajarin was light and soaked up the meat sauce particularly well. Would highly recommend if you’re in Turin.
