The owner has an old-fashioned kindness and shows willingness to help even when the place is completely occupied by diners. At the tables the ladies guide the customer by illustrating dishes from the menu both from Modena and beyond. Each local recipe respects criteria of authenticity and observance of tradition. The cappelletti with capon broth, the egg with Apennine porcini mushrooms and Jerusalem artichokes and the classic trifle served in the form of a crème caramel are very popular.
