03/08/2024: Zoi è una famiglia unita, prima ancora di un ristorante di provincia che ce l’ha fatta. Zoi è l’essenza di un sapore, l’incredulità elaborata ed elevata alla potenza. Zoi non è altro che una filosofia di vita, un credo condivisibile o discutibile. Comunque la vediate, qui l’assenza di carne non pesa. Prendete della proteine stampate in 3D e avete trovato un filetto di carne senza carne. Ogni piatto è amore, è pensiero profondo, ogni portata un’esperienza sensoriale. Davanti all’impegno, tante sbavature si possono perdonare. Resta un luogo con cui cimentarsi, un’esperienza da ripetere.
03/08/2024: I went with my wife for our anniversary. Since she is a vegetarian, I always choose a place that suits her taste, but this time it wasn't like that. The environment is quite small and intimate, but it's a pity that we were made to sit right next to the only noisy company of 10 people present in the place, therefore, goodbye intimacy and tranquility. It should be noted that I had actually asked, when booking, for a somewhat secluded table given the occasion and that, moreover, there were 4/5 occupied tables inside.
As for the service, there isn't much to say... no explanation, few words and a bit superficial. At least there is no shortage of kindness.
Let's now come to the cuisine... we took the complete menu of starter, first course, second course, dessert... the two starters were strongly characterized by the excessive presence of vinegar or acidity which was absolutely not to my taste. As a first course, a spaghetti with little or no identity together with a risotto that instead had its own reason. As a second course, however, I had the opportunity to satisfy my curiosity by tasting the 3D printed meat while my wife took a banana daikon where the banana flavor did not come through and also in this case, accompanied by a sauce characterized by the usual and constant presence too much vinegar...
Peach chef's dessert, which in reality, given the love for acidity, tasted mainly of lemon even if overall it was good and a cheesecake about which there isn't much to say..
A bill of 130 euros that I would have more willingly spent elsewhere
