Pizzeria Zì Marì In Urbino

We were at this wonderful place... we're from Turin... the welcome was kind and the service top notch... the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back... thank you!!!!

After a beautiful hike around Monte Cipriano, we stopped at this pizzeria. It was a wonderful experience: a very warm welcome, a great selection of pizzas, and a very special atmosphere with an open wood-fired pizza oven. The pizzas were freshly made and lovingly topped, and absolutely delicious: great crust, crispy, and very special toppings—simply divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you're looking for a trendy place offering gourmet dishes on the menu and wines by the glass that cost as much as a demijohn of good Sangiovese, forget it. If, like me, you're looking for a place that offers good food and a genuine, family-friendly experience without unnecessary frills (very popular with locals), you've come to the right place. During my recent stay in the Marche region, I dined at Zì Marì three times with my family, sampling both the pizza and the food. I found all the dishes we tried to be very good. Excellent pizza with a light, digestible dough (a must for cyclists to loosen their stomachs). Simple, flavorful local appetizers and first courses. Excellent value. Courteous, friendly service. P.S. I must say that Mr. Cristian's recent review, which claims to have found a foreign body in the pizza dough, left me with more than a few questions. All I know is that if something like this had happened to me, I would have gone straight to the pizza chef to tell him what had happened. This makes me doubt the veracity of what was published.

A little gem run by a family with a very simple approach. The pizza is the best in the area. The atmosphere is very warm, like the places of old. It feels like home.
