Tonight I ate an excellent Neapolitan pizza at the Vesuvio pizzeria in Via dello Stadio in Scalea with my family. The fried foods were also excellent, but the fried pizza was also truly exceptional... a huge calzone filled with ricotta, mozzarella, cured meats and cigoli. The service was super fast and impeccable even though the place was full. All the pe The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are more than affordable and for 4 including drinks I paid less than 50 euros. I recommend it to everyone who wants to eat a good pizza in Scalea.

This year too I went back to eating pizza but compared to the past I found the pizza less good not because of the ingredients but because of the cooking, the crust was too crunchy and the dough tasteless, the frying was good, the service was excellent as always

The pizza is really excellent, good and many options. I would spruce up the outside a bit and take more care of the inside, but the pizza is really good. One thing I don't understand, however, is how it is possible not to have beer on tap (which very few people have in Scalea anyway), this is a negative point. I am sorry. I repeat, the pizza is really good.
