I had already been in Italy for days waiting to try an authentic Napolitan margherita. And we found it thanks to our VBRO host Antonio. The entire experience from the great food to the cool staff will bring us back from the states just to eat there again. It’s classic eatery that reaches beyond its walls. I celebrated my birthday here. Excellent service, warm and respectful. All the staff were very kind and attentive. Excellent fried food and pizza. Fair average price. Compliments to the lady and the boy in the service, impeccable and thoughtful. Thank you! 🤗

La Pizzeria Vesuvio è una vera chicca per chi ama la pizza napoletana fatta bene. L’impasto è morbido e gustoso, con un cornicione soffice ma non esagerato, perfetto per chi non ama il “canotto”. Ottimi anche i fritti serviti come antipasto, davvero ben fatti e saporiti. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, l’atmosfera accogliente e il locale curato e piacevole. Il prezzo è giusto per la qualità offerta. In sintesi, un’ottima pizzeria dove tornare volentieri!

01/06/2025: lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.
