A highly recommended restaurant if you want to eat well and be served with kindness and courtesy. A quaint place and excellent food! You can taste the local produce, and the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes. Congratulations! We recommend the mpacchiuse potatoes, a must try!

On Sunday, October 26th, we went to eat at this restaurant. There were four of us. We ate very well and the price was right. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. They also do pizza in the evening. I will definitely return, so I recommend it even if you're passing through Camigliatello. It might be worth booking, though, as the place was packed.

A quiet evening in the middle of the week. The staff spoke practically only Italian. They found a few gluten-free dishes for the group but the execution was poor: the fried chicken breast was tasteless, as were the cold fried potatoes. The starter assortment for two was tasty and at least a sufficient size. The grilliata mista di maiale was also good, as were the potatoes that came with it, just like Sila.

Great experience. From the service to the food, it was truly excellent. The portions were very generous. The price was perfect, too. The mushroom meatballs were delicious.

I returned to this place after a while and noticed a very positive change in management. The pizza, made with Neapolitan-style dough, was excellent. The desserts, both the almond tart and the tiramisu, were delicious. Very friendly staff. Recommended for a stop in Sila.

La Vecchia Sila is located in the center of Camigliatello Silano. The restaurant consists of three small but reasonably spacious rooms, all very well-kept and tidy. The staff is very kind and helpful, but above all, very attentive, and they take care of their customers. The pizza is excellent, with a very light and flavorful dough, and the appetizer platter is delicious. The prices are reasonable; I highly recommend it.

Domenica 20 luglio siamo venuti a mangiare in questo bel localino ,abbiamo mangiato molto bene e ci torneremo sicuramente presto..grazie al personale molto gentile che ci ha servito il pranzo. Ho messo 4 stelle perché non mi piacciono molto le patate mpacchiuse..ma questi sono gusti personali

Siamo stati veramente bene, c'era la neve e nel locale si stava da Dio con la stufa, la materia prima è di qualità, da quando siamo stati li adesso bevo solo la birra Paulaner che non avevo mai assaggiato e devo dire che è buonissima, carne Top, sono attenti ai dettagli.. Bravi

23/09/2025: Exceptional pizza, crispy, tasty, and served quickly! The summer opening sees tables in the garden in front of the building, and the atmosphere is even better; the outdoor tables are nestled in the small park adjacent to the building, where there is also a children's playground. The food and atmosphere are 🔝! Back at the end of summer, the pizza is still excellent! The last pizza I tried (Assassina) had a unique flavor, too, with pancetta, scamorza, mozzarella, and tomato! Back again in the dead of winter. The exceptional flavors of the pizzas are absolutely confirmed! I tried a superb Provola and Speck pizza! I'm very happy to return, and I'm always pleasantly surprised! The pizzas are excellent, of all kinds. Returned to the trattoria. The flavors are excellent, and have become unmistakable to me. The tuna and onion pizza was excellent, but the other pizzas I ordered were also exceptional! Back again, with a splendid Apulian pizza delivered to the table, truly worthy of being remembered! Returned in the summer, when the outdoor area was open. Excellent flavor, excellent pizza 🍕 Always a great return! We tasted a splendid Speck pizza that puts the best Neapolitan tradition to shame. Returned shortly after our last visit. It's impossible to stay away now. The food is delicious. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful. If you come to Trebisacce, you MUST visit this pizzeria. It's always a pleasure to return! Always wonderful flavors, especially in a summer setting. Returned once again, and it's always a great pleasure.
