Fantastic pizza!!! The fried food is excellent, and so are the first courses!!! Unfortunately, the kitchen is lagging behind... the table service isn't bad. The price is really competitive. (For a mixed menu for 6 people, we spent about 30 euros each!)

In famiglia giro di pizza a piacere del proprietario e ben cotta al punto giusto ..la contadina era squisita e le altre con gusti tradizionale ma ben cotta al forno ..buona la schiacciata fatta in casa

In my opinion, one of the best pizzerias in Valdinievole. A good quality of the raw material, combined with an excellent quality/price ratio, make this place an obligatory stop for lovers of strictly Neapolitan pizza! Some seafood dishes are also very popular, such as spaghetti with clams and mixed fried fish! I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, it has never lost its identity and represents an excellent option for a dinner with family or friends! Staff always attentive and kind, informal environment, also suitable for children! Highly recommended!

Da Enzo is more than a trattoria that enchants from the first moment. The atmosphere is welcoming and genuine, but it is the cuisine that truly leaves you speechless. Each dish is a small masterpiece, prepared with the freshest ingredients and combinations designed to perfection. On the occasion of a classic dinner with relatives, we decide to try this restaurant, they taste a bit of everything, appetizers, first and second courses of fish, and finally the pizzas. Fish first courses, penne with scampi and crabs, overcooked and too greasy pasta. The mixed fried fish was greasy but at least the fried potatoes were soft and some were raw. 40 minute wait between first and second course. The pizza was great. The Let's call it light coffee, not to say elongated. Luckily the prices are super honest, this saves the place.

02/07/2025: A place with an excellent quality-price ratio, unfortunately we arrived a little late and many meat second courses were finished. However, we ate the first courses and the pizza very well. The ladies who served and recommended the food at the tables were extremely kind.
14/06/2025: We didn't like it. At first, none of the waiters knew if a table was available for us. It took the third waiter to take care of it. The service was flippant and couldn't even crack a smile. The tables were placed outside, carelessly on the sidewalk. The food was okay, but poorly presented. We had the impression that the guests were just trying to make room for the next person. It was a shame about the evening.

Ristorante Pizzeria Il Pinguino

22/04/2025: Il ristorante si trova all'interno di un campeggio, facilmente raggiungibile dalla strada principale, appena fuori dal paese di Pian di Novello. Un posto davvero molto carino, accogliente e curato nei dettagli, sembra di stare a casa. Ci sono stato per la prima volta su consiglio di amici per il pranzo di Pasqua, avevano organizzato un menù a prezzo fisso comprensivo di un antipasto, due primi molto buoni perché la pasta era fatta in casa, due secondi con relativi contorni, dolce, acqua, vino, caffè a 40€. Direi che per la qualità e per come sono state trattate le materie prime sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Anche il servizio è stato soddisfacente. Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò sicuramente.
02/02/2025: Non è la prima volta che ci fermiamo al "Pinguino" per pranzo dopo una ciaspolata nella bella riserva biogenetica di Pian di Novello. Proprietari gentili, ristorante curato e accogliente, cibo ottimo. Stavolta abbiamo preso i tordelli di carne e le pappardelle con i funghi e di secondo straccetti di maiale e polenta fritta. Porzioni abbondanti e saporite. Prezzo giusto. Ritorneremo!
