Pizzeria Scacco Matto In Perugia

20/12/2025: As a celiac, I can say that I expected more from a chic restaurant like this... the seafood salad was good, but much more so with seafood; the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was good, but not with egg; and the gluten-free dessert was finished! We booked a week ago! What can I say about the service? We had to look for the waitresses because they had to serve a company dinner. We also had to ask for bread and parmesan cheese. Plus, we couldn't talk over the loud music from the other dinner.

15/09/2025: For my first time in Citerna, I had lunch at Belvedere. It was an experience worth repeating because the fish was fresh and well-cooked, the restaurant was absolutely beautiful and clean, and the view of the Tiber Valley was breathtaking... the only downside: the waitress made a mistake with one of our orders, and we waited a bit too long to fix it. I must say, however, that the waitress was good; she apologized several times (mistakes can happen, of course!) and offered us dessert. The prices are fair for what you get, and I think I'll be back.
