Pizzeria Savô In Genova

We went last night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. We had a really great time; the pizzas were excellent, made with quality ingredients, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Honestly, all things considered, it wasn't a very pleasant experience. The place was beautiful and welcoming, the staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. However, the appetizers arrived greasy, and the pizzas completely disappointed our expectations. The dough was very heavy and oily, the prices were decidedly too high for the pizza itself, and the ingredients arrived cold instead of hot.

Great service and location. The pizzas taste great, the gourmet pizza is definitely worth a try. Delicious! And both chef and service do an excellent job.

Decent pizza but too expensive, the place is a bit too Milanese-style, which I personally find out of place in the alleys.

Excellent pizza, refined ingredients. A different experience from the classic pizzeria.

The ingredients used are certainly excellent, but if you're charging €24-30 for a pizza, everything else has to be excellent too. Service is definitely the area they need to work on... 1) When we arrived at our table (which we had reserved), a chair was missing, and the staff didn't notice. After a bit of a wait, we decided to take our own from a nearby table. 2) We ordered drinks, but not everything arrived. When the pizzas arrived, we had to remind the waiter that the wine was missing. 3) The desserts didn't arrive all at the same time, but 20 minutes after the main courses. Conclusion: excellent product, but not good enough to justify the very high price and poor service... I don't think I'll return to this pizzeria in the future.

Overall everything was good, but the fact that it was cooked in a gas oven, meaning no wood fire, wasn't fitting for this place. The shrimp pizza lacked garlic and arugula; that might be the chefs' preference, and taste is subjective. I'm someone who loves shrimp pizza and has tried it everywhere.
