19/10/2025: A truly five-star culinary experience, all at a very fair price. I was in a group of 10, all enthusiastic and more than satisfied, all in agreement that the quality of the dishes was outstanding, both in terms of ingredients and preparation.
Many of us chose the tasting menu, which was truly lavish (several appetizers, including the excellent gnocco fritto with local cured meats and a Russian salad among the best I've ever tasted; two first courses, including exceptional tagliatelle with venison ragù; the sliced beef served in a tile and topped with arugula and parmesan shavings; desserts, including the chocolate cake, perhaps one of the top three I've ever tasted, if not the best; several bottles of local wine).
Add to this the welcoming atmosphere, probably recently renovated, and the kindness, professionalism, and expertise of Carlo, a young man and son, as well as co-owner with his parents.
We will definitely be back; once you've discovered excellence of this level, you can't help but plan your next dinner or lunch there.
19/10/2025: There were 17 of us at the Merendero and we all left thrilled! From the first moment, we felt welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The service was impeccable, punctual, without any waits, and always with a smile.
We had the welcome truffle entree, house cured meats with fried gnocco, Russian salad, truffle carpaccio, truffle tartar, pumpkin flan with fondue and truffle, parmesan risotto with truffle (it's really good!), tagliolini with butter and truffle, fried egg with truffle, pork fillets on truffle cream, and the wonderful dessert!
Every dish was carefully crafted, with top-quality ingredients and a generous helping of truffle, making it all the more special. The carefully selected wine paired perfectly with the meal.
I would return a thousand times over!!!
A true delight for the palate and for those who love good food in a welcoming and refined atmosphere.
