We tried this place almost by chance on a Friday night, the pizza is undeniably good, as are the assorted frittatas. Personally I like a little more "warmth" in the service

A true trip to Neapolitan pizza heaven! At Pizzería San Gennaro, my partner, his family and I lived a gastronomic experience that left us with a full heart (and stomach). From the first bite to the last, everything was pure magic. We start with the **frittatine** as a starter: crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and with that touch of flavor that makes you close your eyes and smile. Then came the stars of the show: the traditional **pizze**, with that airy dough and edges charred to the perfect point, and the **pizza fritta**, which surprised us by how crispy it was, without a trace of heavy oil! It seemed made with the secret of grandparents. To close with a flourish, a **dessert** that made us sigh. I don't know what they put in it, but they should patent it. And we can't forget the team: the service was **super attentive and friendly**, as if we were at a friend's house. It shows that they put heart into what they do. If you are looking for authenticity, a flavor that transports you to the kitchen of an Italian nonna, and a cozy atmosphere, this is your place. They allowed us to enter with our poodle. We took advice on the starters, very delicious, and, although we were going to order two pizzas, they told us only one to share. Indeed, great. Highly recommended.

The last time I was there the pizza was good but not as good as the previous time, I found a slight drop in the quality of the dough, but still passable. I find the beer at 6 euros quite expensive, it means that the best strategy will be to stop at a simple still water because not being a tourist I don't accept being fleeced at my home. The thing I criticize in the management of the place is that door is always open! We sat inside just to stay warm, but that front door was constantly open even though the outside tables were empty because it was a midweek day after the holiday boom. And it's something I hate and makes me deeply uncomfortable, feeling the cold behind your back while eating! You must close the door, it must be kept closed to guarantee the comfort and confidential welcome of customers, because for this reason I will avoid returning!

Local with a medium size and well located in the old town. The service is friendly and the food is very good. You can have the delicious pizza there or you can take it away. Very reasonable prices.
