Pizzeria San Gennaro In Pozzuoli

I stopped into this place because it was close to my Airbnb. It wasn’t on the list of places I was “Supposed” to try, but it was soooooo good! Definitely a hidden gem! Try it! It’s as good as any of the other “popular” places but with no huge queues!

One of the best pizzerias in Naples, I've been going there for years and we are regular customers now. Excellent fried foods, delicious pizza, cooked to perfection, light dough. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We tried this place almost by chance on a Friday evening, the pizza is unquestionably good, as are the assorted omelettes. Personally I like a little more "warmth" in the service

A true trip to Neapolitan pizza heaven! At Pizzería San Gennaro, my partner, his family and I lived a gastronomic experience that left us with a full heart (and stomach). From the first bite to the last, everything was pure magic. We start with the **frittatine** as a starter: crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and with that touch of flavor that makes you close your eyes and smile. Then came the stars of the show: the traditional **pizze**, with that airy dough and edges charred to the perfect point, and the **pizza fritta**, which surprised us by how crispy it was, without a trace of heavy oil! It seemed made with the secret of grandparents. To close with a flourish, a **dessert** that made us sigh. I don't know what they put in it, but they should patent it. And we can't forget the team: the service was **super attentive and friendly**, as if we were at a friend's house. It shows that they put heart into what they do. If you are looking for authenticity, a flavor that transports you to the kitchen of an Italian nonna, and a cozy atmosphere, this is your place. Great pizza place with plenty of seats. Tasty pizza.

They allowed us to enter with our poodle. We took advice on the starters, very delicious, and, although we were going to order two pizzas, they told us only one to share. Indeed, great. Highly recommended.
