Pizzeria Salvo In Portici

There's a reason it's recommended by the most influential food guides. A great pizzeria in San Giorgio a Cremano where the quality is unquestionable. They care deeply about their customers and the ingredients.

Pizza for lunch with colleagues. We made a reservation, but since it was a weekday, we probably shouldn't have. The pizzas and beers were good, and the service was efficient, no-frills, and flawless. It's as good as ever.

There is not much to say, the pizza at Salvo in San Giorgio is always one of the best ever. We come from out of town specifically to eat here because the ingredients are excellent, the inventiveness of the pizza chef unmistakable and the service excellent.

Aesthetically the place is very nice, and I always recommend booking online to secure a table. The pizza dough was soft and good as well as the toppings were pleasant, it's just a shame for a few points overcooked. The fried pasta frittata was not greasy, but dry with a really good internal topping.

La pizza migliore mangiata a Napoli, la frittatina di pasta invece ne ho assaggiate delle migliori. Ottimo il servizio ottimo il babà e la delizia al limone.

Ho recensito in passato questo locale, non mi dilungherò sulla pizza, sempre buona (anche se una aveva problemi di cottura, bruciata in alcuni punti...) ma sul servizio e sui prezzi. Ordiniamo come antipasto un tris di montanare, buone, anche se poco più che tiepide, come se fossero già pronte e con il sugo ( o i sughi) da aggiungere al momento. Costo 5€ e ci sta tutto. Poi due frittatine, una cacio e pepe e l'altra alla genovese. E qui non ci siamo. Buone si ma minuscole. Per 3,5€ l'una vorrei una frittatina di dimensioni regolari, non un bocconcino che non fai nemmeno il tempo ad assaggiare, inaccettabili quindi le frittatine nane....Rapporto Q/P da rivedere. Margherita classica 6,2€ e già questa è cara... La stessa ma con provola 1€ in più. Ragazzi dalle parti nostre fiordilatte e provola hanno gli stessi prezzi al dettaglio, figuriamoci all'ingrosso. Ingiustificato il sovraprezzo. Una provola e pepe addirittura 9,5€ cioè una spolverata di pepe me la fai pagare 2,3€ ma siamo impazziti? E poi il coperto. 2,5€ a persona per una tovaglietta di carta, ma siamo impazziti? Fanno 7,5€ ... per le tovagliette di carta. In tre abbiamo speso 55€ Ritengo che orama la deriva dei prezzi sia sfuggita di mano. Ripeto, la pizza è buona (ma cottura da rivedere) ma sui prezzi dovreste farvi un serio esame di coscienza...
