A trattoria we discovered by chance, where we return often. The place is spacious and welcoming, with warm vintage colors. The pizza is delicious, topped with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, always attentive to every customer's request, and the prices are truly fair.

We were passing through on December 27th, 2025, and visited the restaurant. We got a great table next to the fireplace without a reservation, even though the place was already quite busy. The staff were extremely friendly and all spoke perfect English. We felt very comfortable, and the food was simply superb. We paid an unbelievable €29 for two pizzas with an appetizer and three beers. Absolutely fantastic! Grazie!

I loved this restaurant. Pizza made by locals. Fresh ingredients served with a smile. The house wine is good and the food is Brill. Would recommend especially if staying in the Novotel ( give their restaurant a miss and come here you won't regret it ) 😉

Excellent pizzas, equally excellent prices, friendly but somewhat distracted staff, and it's a shame that despite being among the first customers, we were served after an hour, with several tables served first despite arriving later.
Anyway, a positive experience, I recommend it.
But I advise the girl to pay more attention to what she asks for and perhaps write it down.
We ordered sparkling water, which came still; two pizzas ordered with salami in the oven, which arrived without. 😁

Pizzeria Salernitana isn’t styled for tourists; it’s a neighbourhood room, walls lined with family photos, a clock, memories in mosaic. You’re dining in someone’s life as much as their business. Hospitality here is lived, not marketed: the pizzaiolo behind the counter is watchful and familiar, a steady presence. I had zuppa di cozze — mussels steamed with garlic, tomato, olive oil, parsley, and toasted bread to catch the broth. A dish tied to Campanian tradition, especially Holy Week, it came fresh, generous, and deeply satisfying. Food and welcome together: that’s the measure. 9.5/10.

I stopped by for work and I have to say the pizza is good and the service is ok. The only thing is that it's in a neglected area but still close to the tourist port.
