Delicious pizza, very light, good ingredients and plenty of it, friendly staff. I've always had excellent pizza on other occasions... Yet another visit to Mauro's... The pizza is always delicious and the prices are fair. The Parmigiana and Fiocco pizzas are delicious. On weekends, it's essential to book several days in advance to secure a table.

The cartwheel pizza is exceptional and, above all, delicious. It's always a pleasure to meet up again.

This was our first time at Mauro's, a wonderful guy. The pizzas were spectacular. Quality ingredients and dough that melted in your mouth. It was a wonderful experience!

To be fair, I'd have to lower the ratings of other pizzerias. I've read a few other reviews, and some are laughable: spartan, cramped, and poorly maintained. Ha ha ha, those statements don't deserve a response. There's a reason you go to Totò's... the pizza, the experience of that pizza. A table for two, St. Joseph's Day, a packed house, but after a five-minute wait, we're seated. We order, and while waiting—I think it's half an hour—we ask for an appetizer (two croquettes), which we later discover are offered to us. Our elaborate pizzas are devoured, whether because they're hungry or because they're delicious, and to prove it, we order the classic Margherita. Two minutes later, we arrive like a flying saucer: good flavor, good ingredients, good dough, and excellent cooking. To round out the evening, two San Giuseppe zeppole and an amaro (real, not diluted water or an unknown brand), also on offer. When the bill arrives, we laugh; the experience was unique, but the price was ridiculous. Well done, Mauro, and the staff; the courtesy and efficiency of the waiters is commendable. On a small sore point, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, but I'd blame it on some uncivilized person (of which there are always) who threw a paper in. You've won over a pizza lover who will be sending you more from now on. Update as of April 27, 2026: Mauro and his staff have proven to be great professionals, kind, and generous. Delicious pizza, light dough. Recommended, definitely worth a try.
