We stopped here with friends for lunch before heading to Montepulciano. Good service, excellent food, and good wine. The atmosphere is like an old trattoria. Good, average prices. If we're in the area, we'll definitely visit again.

A unique old-fashioned trattoria where you can eat truly excellent typical Tuscan dishes...the handmade pici and the Fiorentina steak are excellent. Cesare is a friendly guy...fair prices.

Ho messo 5 all'ambiente perché a me piacciono gli ambienti veraci, da osteria vecchio stile. Quindi se avete altre idee di come deve essere una trattoria, dando un occhio probabilmente ve ne andreste. E fareste male perché si mangia molto bene, una antipasto misto per due, io ho preso pici al ragù di chianina, la mia compagna una tagliata, cotta come voleva lei e cicoria ripassata, tutti e due più che soddisfatti. Vino rosso della casa e alla fine 20€ a testa.

I gave the environment a 5 because I like authentic environments, like an old-fashioned tavern. So if you have other ideas of what a trattoria should be like, taking a look you would probably leave. And you would do wrong because the food is very good, a mixed antipasto for two, I had pici with Chianina ragù, my partner a tagliata, cooked as she wanted and sautéed chicory, both more than satisfied. House red wine and in the end €20 per person.
