Pizzeria Romana In Benevento

We have been coming to this pizzeria for years and I recommend the pizza capricciosa a divinity

We are vegan and pizzeria romana had the best selection of delicious prepared vegetables we have had in Italy! Broccoli raab zucchini roasted potatoes eggplant fresh peas carrots pasta salad and the local aglianico wine was superb. After two weeks of having to order food without meat or cheese this hit the spot. To top it off the owner Vincent was very personable and accomodating and spoke excellent English. He was also open at 6 pm when we arrived in Benevento famished with all the restaurants closed until 8 pm. We will be back!

Great food—roasted vegetables, good for vegans. Staff speaks perfect English, helpful for those of us still learning Italian. Open when no one else was, also a plus! Thank you!

In fact, the historic location is the first to be created in the splendid city of Benevento in an informal yet well-kept environment 😊 decent number of internal seats 😉 vast choice of first courses, second courses, side dishes and rotisserie in general with attached cafeteria service 😊 discrepancy of some I found food without praise or infamy and the stop was not bad at all 😉 the service was quite quick and the staff, although a little sulky, was kind, helpful and attentive to my requests 😊 the quality ratio was excellent price given the strategic point of the location 😊 I think I'll happily return as soon as I'm in the area again and maybe be able to give a worthy 5-star rating 😉 recommended for a short break, stopover or for those who don't want to spend exorbitant amounts 💯
